Camping Village Marepineta

I would not recommend a stay here. There are currently major building works going on around the pool area. This includes the use of a huge crane hoisting loads which swing over the patio where the sun loungers are. Add to this the noise from the machinery and in general the poorly kept grounds, I would say best avoided.

Generally favourable impression. It’s a beautifully located campsite and the staff are very helpful. It was laid back and was perfect for us for what we needed. The pool itself is beautiful but the biggest drawback is the restricted opening hours for the pool (10-6). We were there during the heatwave, when you could not stay there in the early afternoon. So it’s inexplicable that the pool closes at 6 when the temperature is only becoming bearable. I know this has been raised numerous times previously by other guests. This one drawback would stop be coming again. There is a big spa under construction which should improve facilities from next year if you are into that kind of thing. The site could do with more than one restaurant, which in fairness is beautifully situated and reasonably priced.

We had a really good trip to Sistiana staying at this site. Wonderful views and a lovely bay at the foot of the cliffs with shingle beaches. Restraraunts on site were great and and the road train to the beach eased what would have been a steep climb. The only slight downside were the absence of a games room which frustrateed my son and the music at the pool being a little too loud. I'm not sure the staff had a handle on some of the lyrics.

Very close to Trieste, Grado. It’s located next to the Duino, which is good for hiking and the camp is on the top of the cliffs and has beautiful view. It’s a very good camp for RV motor homes and for family. Facilities were clean and the staff at the entrance was super nice and friendly and on the service. We will definitely come back.

We use these camping when we needa quick weekend getaway in Italy. Trieste is allso near, with great coffe and aperol :) Camping Village Mare Pineta is kept very well maintained and clean. At our last visit we received a warm welcome by Zorica, the receptionist. Thank you for that :)
