I've just returned from a long weekend stay at Hotel Boston and can't recommend it enough! Before travelling, i'd noticed the majority of reviews were mainly praising the hotel staff and now I understand why. Each staff member we spoke to went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, nothing was ever too much. Montecatini itself is a lovely town and the hotel is in close walking distance to both the main train station as well as the funicular station to travel up to Montecatini Alto. I made use of the hotel pool which is situated on the rooftop of a building across the road but incredibly easy and convenient to access and fabulous views from up there. There was also a lovely/varied choice each morning at the continental breakfast. Can't fault anything about this hotel or the area, highly recommend and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

The hotel is very nice, clean and the people are very friendly, The rooms are big and clean, it gets cleaned every day, the bed is big and comfortabel. Breakfast has a big variaty with fresh food.

We stayed in the Hotel Boston from 30 July to 6 August. The rooms were spacious with lovely, comfortable beds and the air conditioning was perfect for keeping cool in the 40C heat! The room cleaning was excellent. Fresh towels and room made up each morning. Breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh and constantly replenished. Gerdi the barista was brilliant. He knew our order each morning and his coffee was the best we had in Italy! Location was very handy for trips to Pisa, Florence, Montecatini Alto etc. We were able to park our hire car for €7 per night in the hotel gated car park across the road. The rooftop pool provided a lovely cool down after a day of sightseeing. We loved it here!

This hotel was a great spot to explore Tuscany, friendly staff and close to amenities of the town, convenient to motorway and train stations. Our room was large with a spacious balcony overlooking the garden. Tuscany was experiencing extreme heat so we probably didn't use the balcony as much as we could have but the view was lovely and the aircon was great. Staff were so friendly from our arrival, hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was great for us, continental with a few hot options too but plenty on offer and restocked frequently. Barista coffee made by Gerdi each morning was great, separate tea/coffee machine if you want instant with a good choice of tea options. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, a traditional Italian style with modern bedrooms and typical Italian hospitality, "perfetto"! Only slight thing was walls could do with a lick of paint but nothing terrible and possibly happened in this season.

All staff were very welcoming and helpful. When we checked in the man who served us was very friendly and was happy to show us how to access the pool across the street. The pool was clean and a lovely temperature in the Italian sunshine, we enjoyed going up there to relax after our days exploring. The room was really clean and was cleaned daily, we liked that the towels were replaced daily and the staff folded our pyjamas under our pillows! We had dinner one evening and the staff were really friendly and in good spirits. David at reception was really helpful in helping us phone a taxi to the airport when we left. Because we had an early start, he made sure we had a coffee from the hotel restaurant and some warm pastries (with nutella!) which was very kind of him! Thank you David! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Boston & would recommend it for Montecatini!
