We went in mid April (Off Season) Cons - -Furniture, cabinets, sinks and faucets were not polished. While they were not dusty it was clearly evident that they do not use furniture polish or polish the sink hardware. - The bed base was dirty and stained when you look at it from putting stuff under the bed. -The two mattresses put together to make one big bed need to be replace. Both sides dipped quite a bit and felt like I was sinking. The top and bottom ends of the bed were firm as no one can sleep on the top and bottom, therefore no ability to be worn down. -Shower stall did not seal correctly when closed it leaked all over the floor every time we showered. As we only had one set of towels we could not dry the floor unless we spent 8 Euro daily to have something to wipe the floor with. -Bed cover presumably was clean but had hard crusty stains on it -The bathroom reeked of sewer every time the kitchen sink was used, we had to purchase a fragrance spray to cover up the smell. -You have to bring your own paper towels, toilet paper (they only provided 1 roll), dish soap, laundry soap. -All of the kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans could use a good sanitized cleaning via a dishwasher or very well handwashing. Some of the utensils were rusted as well as the pots. Eww - Towels were provided but were not given a fresh set unless you have stayed for two weeks or more. If you needed fresh towels you were charged 8 Euro per towel. - Room cleaning only happened once on a Friday only if your stay was two weeks or longer. You have to stay another two weeks before you can get another cleaning and towels. -We were not able watch tv as the settings were in German, there were no instructions on how to change it to a different language. -Though luckily there was someone in the reception when we had questions they really couldn't do much as it was off season -The free Wifi was inexplicably shut off had to wait until the next day to speak to the reception who confirmed that they did indeed changed the usernames and passwords. MAJOR INCONVENIENCE as I could not report for work without Wifi. Had they given us a heads up I could have made other arrangements for work. -The door to the patio did not have a seal to keep out rain water. We had a major rain storm with wind, the floor was flooded. Again, had no towels to wipe up with. -Walls were paper thin, the next door apartment had a young child that was uncontrollable. Ran all over the apartment, screamed all the time, hummed and sang well into 3AM. We had the hotel speak to them but the Mother seemed to be resentful while claiming they would speak to the child but there was nothing they could do. -We had to pay I forgot how many Euros to use the gym. Unacceptable. -As we stayed until mid May, the resort started to fill and was noisier. - A lot of eating establishments were still closed as it was off season, if we did find places that were open their open hours varied as to what they desired with no consistency. Pros - Close to the areas we frequented, Livorno, Mare di Pisa, Pisa -Secured Free parking -Beny's was ok to eat at in a pinch. Staff spoke understandable English. -Secured entry to the resort via a card that had to be authorized -Beautiful view of the pool and a tiny bit of the beach and ocean -You get what you pay for

We initially had booked at its neighbor and sister company The Miramare Resort. But due to missing basic facilities and having a very busy main road right beside the apartment the company offered us an apartment in the continental Resort. It is as bad as the Miramare and would stay away from the place all together. Between unfriendly staff who would argue with you about the accommodation, and a badly maintained apartment I will not come back again. Not an apology not a we are sorry your not happy and how can we make your stay a pleasant one. Only " there's nothing wrong with our apartments". Customer service goes a long way.

Really enjoyed staying in the apartments there. It was great size for a very good price. Everything is just right there. Beach was beauteous. It wasn't busy and very calm, relaxing. My little boy had great time there. Big Thank you to Alessandra for outstanding service. We appreciate you have waited for us to arrive. Big thank you to the Pool Rescue Guard (sorry, don't know your name) for amazing job looking after our little boy.
