Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives

This was our 10th trip to the Maldives, so we thought we knew what to expect. However, our recent 8-night stay at Atmosphere Kanifushi turned out to be a very memorable visit, mainly because of the quality time we spent together as a family and the wonderful people we met along the way. Kanifushi is a beautiful long island with stunning beaches and clear turquoise water. We stayed in both a Residence Beach Villa and an Overwater Villa, and loved having the chance to experience both. The trip started with a smooth seaplane transfer from Male. Arriving on the island to the sound of traditional drummers was a lovely touch and immediately put us in holiday mode. What stood out most during our stay was the friendliness of the team. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help and always greeted us with a smile. We particularly enjoyed our daily breakfasts at Pier 6, where Thuti and Amit Kumar always made us feel welcome. Renu and Thapa looked after us so well at Sunset, and Raman helped arrange several special dining experiences during our stay. A special thank you also to Sanjay for helping organise a birthday celebration for our daughter. Our villa was looked after by Rishi and Suresh, who kept everything spotless throughout our stay. We also appreciated all the help from our butler Hasir, who made everything easy and stress-free. There was plenty to do on the island. Our daughters loved the snorkelling trips, especially the turtle snorkelling excursion with the Oceanix team. We also spent time cycling around the island, paddleboarding, visiting the gym, joining yoga and Pilates classes, enjoying the spa, going on a fishing trip and simply relaxing on the beach. We found ourselves returning again and again to Pier 6, Just Veg and Sunset. In the evenings we enjoyed the entertainment, especially the fire show, and we rarely missed the nightly shark feeding. We’ve been fortunate to stay at many resorts in the Maldives over the years, but what made this stay special was the people. The warmth and care shown by Ram and his entire team made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our holiday. Thank you to everyone at Kanifushi for helping create some wonderful family memories.

A really beautiful island with an excellent resort with everything you need or want. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you have everything that you need and are always serving you with a smile. The Kanifushi Plan is extremely well put together with many activities and extremely good quality food served at the buffet themed nights. The Spa is absolutely amazing!!! A few of the people that i had the pleasure of interacting with that i would like to personally acknowledge and recognize are, Shasha (our assigned Guest Relations Officer), Mohammed Ali (Buggy Driver), Thin (Pier Six), Sushma (Spice Restaurant), Pooran (Buggy Driver), Kumar (Buggy Driver), Hunain (Room Attendant), Angel (Essens Spa), Indi (Essens Spa). It is a destination and location that i would recommend and would definitely go back to.

We spent 4 nights at Atmosphere Kanifushi with our toddler and had a wonderful experience. Our host, Shasha, made our stay smooth and comfortable, and the chefs kindly prepared baby-friendly meals, which was greatly appreciated. The island is beautiful, with white sandy beaches, clear turquoise water, and plenty of space to relax. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming to our son, and the restaurants always had suitable food options for him. Our villa was comfortable and well-maintained, and we loved the peaceful beach mornings and stunning sunsets. A special thanks to Shasha for his attentive and professional support throughout our stay, helping with reservations, activities, and anything else we needed. The all-inclusive offering was excellent, with great food, drinks, and consistently friendly service. They have a huge variety of options for vegetarian travellers. Atmosphere Kanifushi gave us the stress-free family holiday we were hoping for. Thank you to Shasha and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven then Atmosphere Kanifushi is for you. This was our 7th trip to the Maldives and 3rd to Atmosphere Kanifushi, having experienced other islands we returned to Kanifushi for the exceptional service from amazing staff, good food , spacious comfortable accommodation , stunning views and absolutely peace and serenity. Too many people to thank for making our holiday so special and apologies I can’t remember all the names but big thank you to all the staff at sunset where we were daily visitors, the photograph says it all , thank you all , you could not do enough . Big shout out to bar staff at liquid , Hamann ( apologies if I have spelt it wrong ) what a lovely man , loved seeing his smiley face every night . Also to managers Ram , Mohit and Ram ( F&B ) manager all listened and supported when we needed it ( an incident occurred that was no fault of the resort ) they all followed up daily and enquired about our wellbeing. Lastly but not least thank you to Ayaan our guest relations Officer , what a star ⭐️ nothing was too much ,thank you Ayaan . We stayed in a Kanifushi pool villa 175 with the most amazing view , the pool was a delight , really good size. We spent the morning at Sunset adult only pool where we would also have a delicious lunch then return to the villa and enjoy the solidarity of the beach and private pool , many a day I didn’t see another soul apart from friends who were staying next door. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of life then Atmosphere Kanifushi is for you
