Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

We travel in groups, and all six of us like the resort very much. The food is very good, and the 5.8 restaurant is a must. When we ate there, many fish swam by. We even saw eagle rays and sharks swimming by. The island is very good for snorkeling. We saw many fish there: turtles, sharks, and a group of eagle rays. We saw dolphins three times. The people there are also very kind. Our host, Noza, told us where the best snorkeling spot was, where we saw sharks, turtles, and eagle rays. The waiter Adam at Canneli was very attentive and always gave us what we needed. My only complaint came on the last day, when Noza told us all the buggies were occupied for arriving guests, so there was no buggy for us. We had to walk to the reception to check out on time. We felt arrivals were more valued than us. If Noza had told us that we could stay in our room a little longer and that when a buggy was available they would pick us up for check-out, we would not have felt so neglected. Except for this, everything was wonderful.

We had an amazing stay at Hurawalhi Island Resort, and we especially want to thank our host, Hussain Zayan, for making our trip so memorable. Zayan was extremely professional, friendly, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay. From the very first day until the last day, he treated us with the same enthusiasm and kindness every single time we met him. He checked on us every day, always asking about our experience and whether everything was going well, which made us feel genuinely cared for. What touched us the most was how thoughtful and patient he was. After learning that we could not swim or snorkel, he kindly took the time to teach us some simple tips and techniques, which made us feel much more comfortable and confident. His positive attitude and hospitality made our vacation even happier and more relaxing. This was actually our second time visiting the Maldives, and thanks to Zayan, this trip honestly felt even better than our previous experience. His service and care truly made a difference and created many wonderful memories for us. The underwater restaurant at Hurawalhi Island Resort was also absolutely breathtaking. Dining surrounded by the ocean and marine life was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, romantic, and unlike anything we have experienced before. It truly feels like a one-of-a-kind place in the Maldives and is definitely something worth experiencing at least once in your lifetime. Hurawalhi itself is also a truly beautiful island. The marine life and nature around the island are amazing — we saw so many fish and animals during our stay. Every staff member we met was very welcoming and friendly, creating such a warm atmosphere everywhere on the island. We also really enjoyed the game room, which made the stay even more fun and never boring. The villa was cozy and comfortable, and the infinity pool was absolutely stunning. Overall, this was a wonderful and unforgettable Maldives experience, and we would absolutely recommend Hurawalhi to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

We spent 11 nights on this amazing island! Travelling through Dubai made us quite apprehensive, but it was worth it in the end. We nearly cancelled but were so glad that we didn't. We usually prefer travelling via speedboat to islands due to the much longer wait. We did have to wait for a few hours but just went to sleep in the comfortable lounge. The AI package was amazing with Tattinger champagne and lots of amazing cocktails so I would recommend that. The minibar was the best I've seen with bottles of spirits and full bottles of wine; even though we didn't drink much of it. The sunset beach villa with private pool was lovely and right by most of the amenities. The food was all great - and due to a serious intolerance - the staff were always on hand to let me know of any ingredients. The 5.8 restaurant is a must and amazing watching the many fish! Canneli the buffet was good but I'm often a bit unsure of them due to my intolerance. I did think that some of the food should've been refrigerated at times as it's so hot at night too. That said, the chefs were very good. The entertainment was just right with something on every night. The games room was also good with board games to play too. One duo - Ambaa - on the Tuesday night were so talented. The best I've seen in the Maldives and the Maldivian nights on Thursdays were great fun! As others have mentioned, the staff are great, as other Maldivian resorts are though too! Our favourites were Cashmir in the bar (he would remember everyone's names and make everyone smile, really something else), Tushar in the bar, Rohan Nepal, Sajil and Murigan who would guide me in the resturant. The bar staff would even automatically bring my delicious frozen Pina Colada each morning by the pool - thank you! Our allocated waiter Fazeel was so sweet and attentive. He even gave us a painting and some pens! Anas - our host - was very good too. It was a little awkward though when he had to stay another night after our flight home was cancelled. After receiving no assistance from Emirates Holidays, he had to sort it ourselves at quite an extortionate price. We had to really persist to even get the same price as their website. We didn't want this on holiday and it didn't seem to be Anas' fault. Out of seven Maldivian holidays, it's my joint favourite with Anantara Veli and I'm sure we'll return. Thank you to all of the staff!

A great stay, loved adult only and 5:8 (although expensive). Good quality food and drink (Whispering Angel, champagne). Lovely bar area and very tentative staff. Sam our host was great, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful pool area and lovely vibe. Beach areas were smaller and not so immaculate as other resorts. We had a wedding ceremony on the beach, it was beautiful but quite close to some of the beach villas and unfortunately a couple of guests stood close by and watched the whole ceremony and are on the video!

Hurawalhi was a truly unique and unforgettable experience for us. We loved the peace, the beautiful nature, the villa with direct access to the sea, the excellent restaurants and the wonderful activities. What made our stay especially memorable were the people. Our Island Host Akan was always available, warm, attentive and highly professional. Mohamed Faseel at Canneli Restaurant gave us outstanding service and touched us with his kindness and his beautiful artwork. Popi at the Spa impressed us deeply with her holistic approach, her treatments and her wisdom. The 5.8 Undersea Restaurant and the Candlelight Beach Dinner were absolute highlights. The food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. We would highly recommend Hurawalhi to friends. A special thanks you to the entire team for making our holiday so special.
