Hurawalhi Resort Maldives

An amazing house reef with incredible marine life. Everything was perfect, including all the services, the dive center, and the diving experience. Our butler, Ali, was exceptional and fulfilled every request we had. I also have to mention that all the restaurant staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to CJ, who looked after the jetty and was always so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely incredible, with an amazing variety of dishes to suit every taste. The underwater restaurant is definitely worth the money – not only was the food excellent, but the unique dining experience surrounded by marine life made it truly unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back!

The hotel is incredibly professional in every aspect. From the moment we arrived, they gave us a wonderful surprise that made us feel truly welcomed and made our stay even more special. We had a truly amazing honeymoon at Hurawalhi! We would absolutely go back or recommend it to anyone. The island is beautiful - we snorkeled each morning along the natural reefs and saw reef sharks, sting rays, and beautiful fish. The sunset dolphin cruise was really lovely. And the meals were incredible! We enjoyed experiencing the buffet at Canelli, Kashibo was DELICIOUS and we loved the Teppanyaki experience with the chef, and we enjoyed spending most afternoons by the pool enjoying Coco Bar drinks and the JFK menu. We got fresh tuna ceviche pretty much every day, and I loved the drink art on some of the cocktails. The curries and desserts were delicious as well. And the Undersea Restaurant was such an amazing experience we'll always remember, it can't be missed. It was truly my most favorite night of the trip - the views of fish and food are incredible, but more than that it feels like a whole experience. We also had amazing massages at the spa on the first day of our trip as we were getting over jetlag. The accommodations were fantastic. We split our time between an overwater villla and a beach villa with a pool, and really enjoyed that experience. Waking up in the overwater villa and just looking straight out at the ocean, and walking down into the water, is such a cool experience. And we loved our pool beach villa just as much - having our own private pool was really nice and the outdoor patio area felt like an oasis. Most importantly, the wonderful hospitality of the Hurawalhi team made our stay so special. From the moment we arrived and were greeted and relaxed in the sea plane terminal, we didn't worry about a thing. We had the same island host and Canelli waiter for the duration of our stay, and they were so thoughtful and helpful (thank you, Afrah and Adam!). We also loved seeing the Coco Bar manager Kasmir each day when we went to relax by the pool in the afternoon. Thank you to the team for making it such a wonderful experience!!

This was our third visit to Hurawalhi, and once again it reaffirmed why it remains our favourite place in the Maldives. Our days at Hurawalhi were nothing short of spectacular. The outstanding house reef is undoubtedly one of the finest in the Maldives, offering an incredible diversity of marine life just a short swim from our villa. What truly sets Hurawalhi apart, however, is its people. A very special thank you goes to Anas, our Island Host. Quite simply, he is the best. Nothing was ever too much trouble, yet he never felt intrusive. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, checked in at exactly the right moments, and handled every request with warmth, professionalism and genuine care. He again made our holiday effortless from beginning to end and is an enormous credit to Hurawalhi. A huge thank you to the two outstanding sommeliers, Harry and Manoj, whose passion, enthusiasm and exceptional depth of wine knowledge elevated every meal throughout our stay. Their recommendations and impeccable food and wine pairings were consistently outstanding, introducing us to wines we may never have chosen ourselves and enhancing every dining experience. It was a genuine pleasure chatting with them each day. Our sincere thanks also go to Lalith, Suranga, Casmir, Anees, and the entire Food & Beverage team. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was delivered with genuine smiles, professionalism and attention to detail. We always felt genuinely welcomed, recognised and exceptionally well looked after. Their warmth, attentiveness and consistency of service played a huge part in making our stay so memorable. To everyone behind the scenes whose names we may not know, thank you for your hard work and dedication in making every aspect of our stay so seamless. Hurawalhi continues to deliver understated luxury without pretence. The villas are beautiful, the dining is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is peaceful, relaxed and simply magical. Thank you once again to everyone at Hurawalhi for another unforgettable holiday. You have created memories that will stay with us forever. We cannot recommend Hurawalhi highly enough. Leaving is never easy, and we are already counting down the days until we return.

Such a beautiful island and resort. It looks even better in real. Amazing coral. Food is excellent, the buffet is excellent and Kashibo is my fav. All the staff go an extra mile to make you feel home. Their service and friendliness is so genuine. Special shout out to Agness from Canelli and our island host Dinara for taking care of us, making that extra effort to make us feel so special for our birthday trip. and also so many more staff from Canelli I don’t remember all of their names but thanks so much for your hospitality. Def a very memorable trip for us.
