Jawakara Islands Maldives

I have to admit, it was the best vacation of my life. The hotel features several wonderful islands, so there are plenty of places to walk around. There are so many activities available on the islands: paddleboarding, volleyball, soccer, golf, and tennis. There are also lots of water sports, including windsurfing, diving, jet skiing, and snorkeling. The pristine beaches and fantastic reef truly left an impression on us. The hotel itself, the food, and the service are all definitely 5-star. Special thanks to our personal manager, Diarani, who was incredibly helpful and resolved all our issues. As for the downsides, I must mention that there were way too many russians who, as always, behaved like Neanderthals. However, I cannot blame the hotel itself for this, as it reflects the general policy of the Maldives. Thank you to the hospitable staff and these fairy-tale islands for an unforgettable time.

Wonderful hotel - clean, beautiful, and the food is delicious, which is rare in the Maldives. On the sunset side of the island, there is a bit of an issue with algae, but they clean it up immediately. A special thank you to our personal manager, Bijay- he made our holiday unforgettable! Thank you!

I have to say, it was a fantastic vacation. The island has everything: 5-star food, 5-star beach and ocean views, 5-star views, and both water and beach sports (volleyball, soccer, tennis, paddleboard, golf), as well as diving and snorkeling. If you're flying, I recommend booking a 14-day stay. It was the best vacation ever. Special thanks to our personal manager, Diarana, who quickly resolved all our issues and was very helpful. My only wish was that we'd known from the photos what exactly the island has to offer on the first day when you were greeted. The best vacation ever. Jawacara

In May, we have spent 2 weeks in a water pool villa at Dheru for our honeymoon and have been nothing but amazed. Our expectations were exceeded. We have been quite unlucky with the weather (a lot of rain, grey skies, maybe 3-4 sunny days in those 2 weeks) but still it was just breathtaking. The island and its fauna were incredibly beautiful and taken care of a lot (except for sea grass - there was a lot of it and most of the time it wasn't removed from the beaches). Staff was outstanding, always making sure you have everything you need and making you happy. Water in the lagoon and around the island was incredibly beautiful, perfect for snorkeling. (Hint: Always use fins when you go snorkel - the currents can be really strong, even in the shallow areas!) We have seen many sea turtles, sharks, sting- and eagle rays, even an Octopus who lived right in front of our villa. Food in the buffet restaurant was fine, could have a bigger selection of food though. There were different themes throughout the week with different food, but I think especially for children the selection was a little small. The á la carte options on the island (Umi, Molo and Hideout) were really amazing and can be recommended 100%. Especially Umi with a spectacular location, views and outstanding food. I would say 90% of all the tourists were Russian, most of them were quite loud, even in the restaurant during meal times as they were always using their phones on speaker to call people, unfortunately entertaining the tables around them with the noise. Whenever the sun came out, beaches were occupied by these typical Instagram women taking selfies and videos, which can be a bit annoying. The hotel itself though was exceptional. A lot of love for details, really well trained staff, great location and probably the best service I've ever had the joy to experience.
