The location is lovely and picturesque and has potential but it fails to deliver at every single turn. The rooms are dated, poorly equipped and over priced for what they are. It’s sold as affordable luxury but it’s absolutely not this. The food and service at the 3 dinner options are completely disappointing. So much so that although we’ve paid for all inclusive, we cancelled all the dinner reservations and eating at the average buffet instead. The worst part is that ALL the sun-loungers are completely broken and unbearable to sit on. They are all so old and worn that the canvas is loose and baggy which means you lie directly on metal bars. All guests here we’ve spoken to feel the same. It’s hugely disappointing and I could go on. Rooms not being cleaned properly, glasses and plates never being cleared away by the pool. Other seating areas are filthy and left out in the rain so soaking wet and unable to be used in the mornings. I’ve never left a review before but I’m so unhappy about this resort that I want to warn everyone. We are here for another week and looking to leave and go elsewhere as it’s so terribly.

Our stay at Kandima Maldives was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt welcomed by the friendly and smiling staff. A very special thank you goes to Inash, the manager, who truly made a difference during our stay. He went above and beyond to help us in every possible way and always made time to listen and assist with a genuine smile. His professionalism, kindness and dedication to ensuring guests have the best possible experience are exceptional. He is a real credit to Kandima Maldives. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Samah, the restaurant manager. Every single day, he made sure we had everything we needed and always took the time to check that we were happy. What impressed us the most was the way he looked after our son, making sure his favourite meals were prepared and that he always felt special. That level of genuine care and personal attention made our holiday even more memorable. The island itself is absolutely stunning. The crystal-clear turquoise water, soft white beaches and tropical surroundings are exactly what you dream of when visiting the Maldives. Our Aqua Villa offered breathtaking views, and waking up to the ocean every morning was something we will never forget. The food throughout the resort was excellent especially in the Smoke and Azura restaurants with plenty of variety, and there were many activities to enjoy. Kandima has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to completely unwind. The only reason our stay wasn’t absolutely perfect was that our villa needed a little more attention to maintenance. The wooden decking outside the aqua villa had several areas that caused splinters when walking barefoot, the shower area looked worn and could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the curtains also needed better cleaning. These are relatively small issues, but at a luxury resort they are noticeable. That said, none of these points took away from the incredible beauty of the island or the kindness of the staff. We genuinely had an amazing holiday and created memories that will stay with us forever. We would happily recommend Kandima Maldives to anyone looking for a beautiful island with fantastic facilities, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. We hope to return one day.

Sandeep is nice bartender in Beach Club making amazing cocktails we happy so nice!! Very nice atmosphere and we enjoyed it every day:)
