Kuredu Island Resort & Spa

We first fell in love with Kuredu as a couple, but returning with our two boys (aged 4 and 8) turned our dream into a reality we didn’t think could get any better. This was pure magic – for all four of us. Our amazing host, Auss– thank you for making our stay so comfortable and for making sure we had everything we needed. You organised a brilliant cinema night for us on the beach (kids still talk about it!), and you made my very special birthday extra special. We felt so looked after. Kids Club – absolute legends. Our boys had never stayed in a kids club without us before, so we were a little nervous. Then came Menuka, Seliy, Diveena, and Sujana. They were incredibly attentive, caring, and took the time to get to know our children. They encouraged them gently, and soon our 8-year-old declared: “This is the best kids club ever!” That says it all. The Easter programme was brilliant – mini golf, pizza making, sushi making with the chefs, cupcake decorating, an egg hunt, coconut painting, and loads of arts and crafts. Every day was an adventure for them. Koamas Restaurant team – you are the heart of our meals. Krishna, Pema, and Resma made every single meal special. So attentive, so positive, always asking about our day and sharing stories about their own families. We genuinely loved getting to know them. They turned eating into a warm, happy ritual. Snorkelling Safari with Ahmet – absolute highlight. Ahmet and his boat crew took us to the best spots: incredible fish, reef sharks, dolphins. They looked after our 4-year-old on the boat while we snorkelled, making sure he was happy and safe. Ahmet was brilliant with our 8-year-old in the water, guiding him to the best sights. Our older son felt like a real explorer. This was our second time at Kuredu, and coming back with our children made it everything we had dreamed of – and more. Thank you to every single person who made our return so unforgettable. We’ll be back.

This was our first visit to the Maldives and Kuredu resort and both far exceeded our expectations! The sand, sea and sea life were absolutely amazing!.. we'd never seen such white powdery sand and the colour of the sea just had the wow factor! We were amazed by the sea life too..we didn't have to swim far from the beach in the resort, before we saw turtles, baby black fin reef shark (who weren't in the slightest bit interested in us) lots of fish and even a huge stingray lying peacefully on the sea bed! The snorkeling trips arranged by pro divers the operator at the resort were great, we went on one trip to Komandoo island which had an amazing house reef and a 2nd trip called snorkeling safari which took us to 3 separate reef areas. We thought both trips were very good value for money and well organised, we were in a small group and the Guides who accompanied us looked after us well and took us to amazing parts of the reef. Everything about the resort was perfect. We chose Kuredu island because although we love relaxing on the beach we also wanted abit of variety with lots of facilities. We opted for the all inclusive + package which also included a few freebies, which were great! We took the opportunity of a free golf lesson, snorkeling session (which was great for giving us confidence what to expect to see and informative eg awareness about turtles needing to come up for air every 20mins, not to go close them or approach from behind otherwise they don't come up for air!) We also went on a free sunset boat trip, with the possibility of seeing dolphins, this also didn't disappoint. Staff on the boat kept intently looking for dolphins and took us to an area with a beautiful sunset back drop. We saw a group of around 6/7 dolphins diving above the water and doing cork-screw somer-saults. It was magical. The food in the restaurants were excellent. Very good quality and lots of choice. We mainly went to the 'O Resort' Restaurant as that's the part of the resort where we were staying (adults & over 12's) But also we went there because the restaurant was in such a lovely setting overlooking the sea, and had a lovely breeze in the evenings as the humidity remained well over 30+ degrees C. We stayed in an O beach Villa. The room was spacious and new looking and the mini bar well equipped. .the outdoor bathroom was a novelty! The location was so peaceful and relaxing. Kuredu staff made us feel so very welcome particularly in the O resort areas where we spent most of our time. And it really made the holiday for us. We wish we could remember all of their individual names to give them a big thank you and acknowledge how hard they worked. But a particular a mention to : Mani who drove the buggies, always warmly greeted us and had a joke. Was very kind, kept a look out for us and when we arrived late at the buggy stop, reversed to pick us up.! The O Resort Restaurant staff were all wonderful. One of the chefs think named, Banwar was particularly friendly and chatted with us regularly. The hostesses Ashnia and Suprana, who greeted us and showed us to our table were lovely they took the time to chat and remember our names. They were so thoughtful, remembering small details of what we liked to drink and seating us in a good position. Despite the high humidity they never stopped smiling and were always polite and had a laugh and a joke with us. Our island host, Vamshi was also very helpful.Always replied quickly to our messages and kept us informed. He very kindly booked us the reservations at Sangu Restaurant And our room attendant Senthil, who we can't speak highly enough of, always kept our room so immaculate. Ensuring the mini bar was kept well stocked and enough bottled water, for my husband's medical condition. Senthil always greeted us with a smile, took the time to chat and have genuine conversation with us. We really felt he gave excellent customer service. We left Kuredu feeling that we were departing from friends. It made it such a memorable holiday for us. We'd love to return to the island again some time soon!

My 4th visit and just as good as all the others. Shah was a fantastic host and everything that was asked was actioned within minutes. Food and staff are truly fantastic. We tended to eat at 'O' Resort mainly as all the staff remembered us and vice versa. They really are a credit to Kuredu. As always here, you can do as little or as much as you want. Snorkeling is great, the reef being the best area to see everything. Do not take shoes, you don't need them. Visit the Spa See you next time!!!!

We had a wonderful time at the resort. The environment is beautiful, the food was great and all the staff were really nice and smiley. Our island host, Pooja was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay, and even after 😊. She helped to make our stay unforgettable.

Our holiday at Kuredu was nothing short of perfection. Everything about the island was spectacular - from the stunning sandbank and beaches to the incredible snorkeling. We stayed in a Jacuzzi Beach Villa, which was absolutely divine, and the variety and quality at the restaurant exceeded all our expectations. However, the true highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the Kids Club. It is so rare to find a team this genuinely warm, professional, and high-energy. They have a magical way of turning every day into a grand adventure for the little ones. A massive, heartfelt thank you to: Menuka, Seily, Diveena, and Suzu. It’s clear that you put your whole heart into every activity you organise. You made our holiday truly special and gave us the peace of mind to relax, knowing our children were having the time of their lives. Highly recommended for any family looking for paradise! We will definitely be back!
