Kuredu Island Resort & Spa

Our stay at Kuredu was absolutely amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived by seaplane, we knew we were in for something truly special. The island is stunning, with pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and lush tropical greenery that creates a true paradise. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, and the staff deserve the highest praise. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They made us feel at home from the very first day and ensured that every moment of our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The food was another highlight of our holiday. There was an excellent variety of fresh and delicious dishes every day, and every meal was beautifully prepared. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we always found something to look forward to. One of the most unforgettable experiences was snorkeling right from the beach. We were lucky enough to see sea turtles, manta rays, reef sharks, and countless colorful tropical fish. The water is incredibly clear, and the marine life is simply breathtaking. Kuredu has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The island is large enough to enjoy long walks while still feeling private and tranquil. It is the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and truly unwind. We would also like to give a very special thank you to our personal assistant, Abhi. He was outstanding throughout our stay—always kind, professional, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. His warm attitude and genuine care made our holiday even more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated everything he did for us. Thank you, Abhi, for making our stay so special! A heartfelt thank you to the entire Kuredu team for giving us such an unforgettable holiday. We left with wonderful memories and the feeling that we had experienced one of the most beautiful trips of our lives. We highly recommend Kuredu to anyone looking for the perfect Maldivian paradise, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

This was our second stay at Kuredu, and once again we were reminded why we wanted to return. Although Kuredu is officially a four-star resort, the island is exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable and welcoming, and the level of care shown to guests is truly outstanding. The resort has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, beautiful nature, excellent food and a remarkable team of people who make the experience feel personal. We would especially like to thank Rajmani Yadav, the Front Office Manager, who kindly assisted us with an accommodation upgrade and did everything possible to make our stay more comfortable. His professionalism, attention and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank our room attendant, Karthik. He was extremely polite, warm, friendly and always a pleasure to speak with. He took excellent care of our villa and contributed greatly to the feeling of comfort throughout our stay. A very special thank-you goes to the entire team at Sangu Restaurant: Chef Nino, Sayuri, Bipena, Manu, Kiron, Madumal and Ali. The service was consistently attentive, friendly and professional. We would particularly like to mention Kumar, who worked at the tandoor station. He was incredibly kind, courteous and considerate, and everything he prepared was absolutely delicious. Meeting him every day was one of the genuinely warm and memorable parts of our stay. The food at Kuredu was excellent: fresh, varied and very well prepared. For our taste, there was everything one could need — fresh fruit, meat, fish, a large selection of salads and many freshly cooked dishes. We particularly enjoyed both Sangu Restaurant and O Restaurant. The quality of the food and service left us with no complaints whatsoever. Another major highlight of Kuredu is the marine life. The reef close to the island is fantastic and can easily compete with the reef at Komandoo. We snorkelled with sharks and saw a great variety of underwater life. The night snorkelling experience was especially impressive, and we highly recommend it. It is a completely different world after dark and one of the most memorable activities available on the island. The side of the island facing the main jetty is particularly beautiful in terms of the beach, lagoon and sea access. However, there was one significant problem during our stay: biting sandflies. We were badly bitten, and it was difficult to find an effective way to protect ourselves from them. Guests staying on the opposite, windier side of the island, facing the breakwaters, told us that they had not experienced the same problem. We hope the resort can find additional ways to control the insects in the less windy areas, as they can seriously affect an otherwise wonderful beach experience. One practical suggestion would be to upgrade the resort’s bicycles. Cycling is a very convenient and enjoyable way to travel around such a large island, but many of the bicycles currently available are quite old and could be in much better condition. A fleet of newer, more comfortable bicycles would make getting around the island even more enjoyable. We also loved the abundance of birds and wildlife on Kuredu. It is wonderful to see how carefully the resort staff treat the natural environment and the animals living on the island. This respectful attitude toward nature adds a great deal to Kuredu’s charm. Overall, we had another wonderful stay. The warmth of the staff, the beautiful island, excellent food, comfortable atmosphere and remarkable marine life made our holiday truly memorable. We will certainly return to Kuredu again and will happily recommend the resort to our friends.

3 visit to Kuredu. We have been to 2 other Island resorts but this is our favourite for a variety of reasons. The main ones being the JBV's near the Gym are about 30 steps into the ocean, villa's only 5 min walk away from the main restaurant and bars area. Also, we love the a la carte offerings as well. Staff are all brilliant, extra drinks in the minibar whereas the Sun Sayaam group restricted us to 2 beers. Food in the main restaurant is absolutely fine as well. Top it off with a sea-plane journey there and we cant fault it. Def one of the best 'medium' priced islands for All Inc

Beautiful island, "O" resort is blissful, Jacuzzi beach villa's in perfect location, O restaurant staff and especially Chef fantastic.
