We had a great stay here, we loved it! What we liked: - Housereef is awesome - Food choices were great: Buffet, Thai, Italian - The staff is so nice, everyone greets you and is very motivated to give you the best stay possible - The Strand villa is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable - The travel to the island was without any problems, they organised very good - Not alot of people (stayed end of may) - room cleaning was excellent Was we didnt liked: - The checking process was too long, we needed to wait over 1h in reception before we got to our room - The waiting time for food and sisha in coral bar was a bit too long, there where almost no other people so - The drain in the shower and toillet were smelling very bad sometimes

We have a great time. But the best was the sea and activities that were arranged for us. I would like to say thank you to Shakeeb at Dive Center. He made my dream true, I saw the Manta Rays. He advised on when to go best, was checking weather and really cared that we get the best experience. We also went fishing, snorkelling and skydiving. It was amazing! Hotel and people were extremely nice and helpful. We were welcomed by Mini that did best she could. Also thank you to Ali, Yoki. And to Roshan for wonderful time at the Club! And to Chris and Nana!

We jumped with my 9 years son and 15 years daughter from the boat 8 times during 80-90 minutes and 7 times have seen one of 3 different whale sharks at least 1 minute each time. And it took just 1 hour by dony boat from the island to reach this place.

We had an amazing stay at Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives and honestly, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Right from the seaplane transfer, the experience felt special and the aerial views of the islands and turquoise lagoons were absolutely breathtaking and set the perfect tone for the trip. We stayed in both the overwater villa and the duplex beach villa, and both were fantastic in their own way. The overwater villa was definitely the highlight for us, especially with direct access to the house reef from the villa itself. Being able to snorkel straight into crystal clear water filled with vibrant corals and marine life was an unforgettable experience. The duplex beach villa was equally beautiful, very spacious, private, and just steps away from the beach. Waking up to the white sand and calm surroundings every morning was something we truly enjoyed. One of our favorite parts of the resort was the reef near the Reef Restaurant. We spotted nurse sharks, colorful reef fish, and beautiful corals almost every day while snorkeling there. The house reef here is genuinely impressive and perfect for anyone who enjoys marine life. The hospitality throughout the stay was excellent and the honeymoon arrangements made us feel extra special. Food was consistently good across the resort with plenty of variety, but Suan Bua deserves a special mention for its amazing Thai food. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Beautiful island, amazing service, fantastic food, stunning beaches, vibrant corals, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for couples and honeymooners looking for a perfect Maldivian escape !!
