I had the most perfect week here, it was a tranquil paradise with incredible food, sparkling beaches and the most hospitable staff I have met. Shifan was my housekeeper for the week and kept such care of my space, his respectful and professional demeanor was very endearing, I feel privileged to have met him. I was on a quest for solitude and ate all my meals alone or with a book. Roshan was one of the waiters at Reef who made me feel so comfortable. He has great tips for snorkeling, and takes great pride in his work. An asset to the resort. A gorgeous experience. I was often greeted on strolls around the island by a smile and a genuine heart felt 'good morning.' The dedication to professionalism was incredible. I once witnessed a different guest throwing what can only be described as a tantrum at a restaurant and being extremely rude to staff. The staff handled it with so much grace I was mildly embarrassed on behalf of the grown man being so rude. There is a genuine culture here of excellence in hospitality. The gardeners wear a light green uniform and they almost blend in with the environment. They dont offer their names but always a polite smile and diligent to their task. I saw a groundskeeper spend hours carefully removing exposed roots from the beach, his attention to detail ensuring the beach retained its natural, pristine appearance. That level of care sums up the whole resort and I feel so lucky to have experienced a small slice of life here.
