We've only been here for 24 hours & already had excellent service from Jasmin, Chips, & Vinaik (chef) in The Reef restaurant. They've gone out of their way to make a difference, & we truly appreciate their efforts!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable stay – our favourite resort in the Maldives! ❤️ This was our 6th resort in the Maldives and we can honestly say that Machchafushi has been our favourite of them all. What an amazing place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The beautiful rooms, delicious food, incredible house reef and especially the wonderful people made this holiday something we will never forget. The atmosphere is so warm, relaxed and personal – it really felt like being part of a family. A huge thank you to all the staff. The reception team, Coral Bar team, entertainment team, restaurant staff and our fantastic housekeeper were all amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful and so much fun. We had lovely conversations, laughed a lot and really appreciated how wonderful everyone was with our son Kian. A special thank you to Ozzy and Mini, and also the other lovely young man at reception whose name we unfortunately don't know. You are absolute stars and really helped make our holiday so special! The Coral Bar and entertainment team were fantastic. From the daytime activities to bingo, karaoke and dancing in the evenings, they created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We had so many laughs! And a special thank you to the wonderful singer who sang the most beautiful songs every day. ❤️ The food was delicious and we loved how flexible everything was. Whatever we asked for, the team always tried to make it possible. Being able to get something to eat 24 hours a day was also amazing! The Thai restaurant was one of our favourites and the mango sticky rice was delicious. A special thank you to Lakesh for the wonderful food. Our housekeeper also deserves a special mention. He was incredibly kind, helpful and always thinking of ways to make our stay even better. It's those little personal touches that make such a difference. And then there is the HOUSE REEF! 🐠🪸 Absolutely incredible. Without a doubt the most beautiful reef we have ever seen in the Maldives. We could have stayed in the water all day. It was truly breathtaking. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't always on our side, but it honestly didn't matter. The people and atmosphere made every day special. If we had to mention any tiny suggestions, perhaps a little more variation between the lunch and dinner menus and slightly more generous sandwiches at afternoon tea would make things even better. But these are really only small details compared with the incredible experience we had. After visiting many hotels and six different resorts in the Maldives, Machchafushi is number one for us. Not just because of the beautiful island, food and reef, but because of the people. ❤️ To everyone who looked after us: THANK YOU! You made us laugh, made us feel at home and gave the three of us memories we will treasure forever. We really hope this wasn't our last visit and that one day we can come back. A beautiful island with amazing staff. Disappointed by the lack of vegan offerings at the Italian and buffet. Sarath, one of the great chefs, made me some special vegan food (way too much) but it lacked protein. Suan Bua, the Thai restaurant was brilliant with lots of vegan options.
