Start to finish fantastic holiday. Gorgeous resort. Absolutely amazing reef. The service was fantastic and the whole operation is very slick. Couldn't fault anything. Rooms were fantastic and really spacious and very clean. Value for money feels like a bargain. Food was great. The a la carte restaurants were fantastic and really easy to book on. And no limit to how many you can book which I really liked. Thai restaurant was the stand out for me. Food was really delicious. The buffet was also very good. With wide range of variety. Staff really went the extra mile. Nothing was to much to ask and really made the holiday special. All the staff were great. The big stand out staff for us were Shafiq and all the caral bar staff. Really fantastic service and looked after us every day and evening. Huhtuh was a absolute legend. First met him doing the daily shark feeding (which is fantastic) and he massively made our holiday sorting the entertainment keeping the children entertained. Our 3 kids adored him. He is a star and clearly loves what he does.Even gave our kids a goodie bag befor we left which was a lovely touch. Fitte always made an effort to come a talk to us and the kids and even took me a my son out snorkeling for free where we finally found some turtles and moray eel.loads of sharks. If you want a terrific holiday with great service and staff who go the extra mile for everyone. This is the place. Can't wait to come back again. Great vacation spot. Beautiful house rief. There are some amazing people working in this resort. Especially those that made our stay very special: Jason in the dining area, Islam who took care of our room and reception stuff. The resort also has a medical center with very professional team.

Our favourite family holiday! We travelled as a family with my son and daughter aged 6 and 9, and we all had the most amazing holiday. We instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our Maldivian home. Every person we encountered were so friendly and welcoming to our children. They loved going to the kids club where they loved spending time with Eesh and Ika who looked after them so well. My daughter and husband did some diving with Joe who was amazing and also a massive thank you to the guys at bestdives who took us out Manta and whale shark snorkling! Rusty and Chappe took such care with my son and Ali worked hard to find us some Mantas on a day which had a few more waves! Rusty spoke to the children about life in the Maldives and sea animals the full boat ride home, they were mesmorized. They had such an amazing experience on both our trips which they will always remember. Having access to The Club really elevated out holiday Rishard always made sure we were looked after. The snorkling and the house reef was amazing! Before travelling I had told my husband it was a good reef but he didnt believe how good until he saw it himself! Will be hard to beat such a great house reef! We all enjoyed snorkling either from watervilla or from behind dive centre. We were lucky enough so see baby turtles being released and my son loved the Marine Show at the coral bar EVERY night. Resort manager was so friendly and genuinely would ask how our holiday was and if he could do anything for the kids. In truth we were having such a lovely time there wasnt any improvements needed! We split our stay between Family Water Villa and Duplex Beach Villa which was perfect for us. Hard to say which one we preferred. This was our 3rd visit to the Maldives, 2nd as a Family. As a comparison we had visited Emerald Maldives the year previously but we enjoyed our time at Machchafushi much more. Reef was better, lagoon calmer, food was better, kids club friendlier, more family activities! We will be recommending to all families who want to experience the maldives. Infact we will be recommending the Maldives to all families to visit with Machchafushi our top choice.
