Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, The Centara Collection

Well we weren’t meant to be there for 2 weeks but with all that was happening in the world, we needed to stay longer and I actually wouldn’t change things at all. We felt safe on this beautiful island and had the most amazing and special holiday with family and friends. The staff take genuine personal customer experience to the next level, were treated like royalty and like we were their oldest friends. Thank you to the lovely Salman for helping us navigate this time and being extremely considerate. A massive thank you to Rischard and Chef Sentil in Club for serving us like royalty and making us delicious breakfasts and special Thali meals. It was my birthday while I was there and I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good birthday! A huge thank you to our friend Desmond in Reef restaurant who was always there, keeping our drinks topped up with a friendly smile and to Chef Sarath who cooked us absolutely amazing Sri Lankan curries and also cooked the fish that we caught on the fishing trip, the tuna was especially delicious. Thank you also to the other staff in there DJ, June and May. To all the guys on Coral bar, thank you for your brilliant service, always so accommodating and friendly, Kumar, Shafiq and Abishek. Thank you Sujith for the amazing yoga and fitness classes and for doing a daily drive round the island with Frankie! Thank you to Huhthu and Arleen for the excellent entertainment! Thanks to Sonny and Ashiq in the Italian, we will miss you Sonny when you move on, your sense of humour is brilliant! A huge thank you to Islam who looked after us in our villa, such a great guy and we didnt want for anything. Others who we would like to say thank you to finally are Pradeep, Fitty (thank you for the snorkelling), Anil (your driving is just fine :-), Dream, Susie and Ratu in the spa, Naba, Ajith, Jasim, Ayka. Meaw, Pablo, Marx and Jonathan in the Thai who were lovely hosts to us in there. We will miss each and every one of you and hope we will return very soon!

Manila was amazing. Was a great place to stay with awesome house reef and service.

Would like to start by thanking all the staff at the resort they were all so kind and welcoming. Would come here just for the staff interaction ☺️They were very helpful and patient when we had questions and happy to help. The food was phenomenal big credits to the chefs at the resort I have a very satisfied belly. The buffet was wow!! Would recommend anyone couples/families to come here and relax and enjoy the island ❤️

Where do I start from returning from this magical island can’t fault it .From the welcoming landing on seaplane reception Surrounding of the clear blue sea unbelievable seeing reef sharks turtle sting/ eagle rays swimming beside you not forgetting nurse sharks in the day and at night when they come in to be fed.staff were amazing in reefi manager chips so friends Sarath chef that everyday went out his way make hubby prawns for lunch .Not to mentionJasim,habib ,raissan,June,may all of you couldn’t do enough food amazing something different every day .last day decorated our table to say see you soon. 2 other restaurants were very good as well coral aqua bar so good too We had duplex villa on the beach straight out into ocean watch planes arrive every day .we went on sunset cruise omg saw dolphins jumping out of the water amazing sight crew were wonderful.One of best trips was whale shark snorkelling Say big thanks to crew especially Rishwaan was on both our trips wonderful guide there in the water helping if needed.thank you to Raslaan captain Maahidh crew Raakib couldn’t do enough to help guide.what experience to see a whale shark someone not sure if to get the water see it .on way back dolphins swimming stop to swim with them .From start to finish everything was perfect for my special birthday .would we go back yes of course very good island with children too .

Island is quiet, good food and the spread is great. Staff are friendly. Nice place to chill and unwind. Sea sport facilities got many options to choose from. Thank you 🙏🏻
