NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

This resort is everything we expected and more. The friendliness of the staff is outstanding, and they go out of their way to make your stay, the best ever. We chose this resort to celebrate my special milestone Birthday, and the staff went over and above to make my day extra special, including an amazing candlelit dinner on the beach. The rooms are large and you feel at home as soon as you arrive. They are very clean and well serviced, with plenty of space to settle in. The food is amazing, and every night you get to taste all the delights of different countries. The range of food available is incredible and if that doesn’t suit, you can just ask, and they will make something just for you. A special mention to Naufal, who made our visit extra special and interesting, and to Ahad in the restuarant, who looked after us so well. Another special mention to Kris, who oversees the huge kitchen and all the staff, who produce an incredible selection of food. The house reef is the best we have ever seen, and you get an opportunity to snorkel along the drop-off, to see such a huge variety of extremely healthy coral, fish and assorted sea animals. Lots of activities available, you just need to look when you get there. We will definitely go back, we just need to plan for when. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The rooms are very spacious, in excellent condition, and make you feel at home instantly. The reef is better than any we’ve seen before, and the unique opportunity to snorkel safely, right to the drop off, to see the most amazing coral, fish and many sea animals. The food is amazing, with such a variety, you get to taste so many flavours of the world. And if that doesn’t appeal, they will prepare something else just for you, to suit. We stayed at this hotel in late April — early May. It is a very pleasant place. It’s quiet, without noisy shows, with a beautiful well-kept territory and an excellent beach in front of the villas (only a part on the sunset side is reinforced with sandbags). The food might seem lacking in variety to some, but my wife and I were completely satisfied. There is a pool by the bar, a small gym, a kids' room, a tennis court, a gift shop, and a spa center on site. The gym has enough equipment to stay in shape during the vacation, and the spa offers excellent massages. The hotel is located far from the airport, but the entire journey — from the international terminal to the domestic one and then to the resort — is quite comfortable. Special thanks to Ayaz, our assistant on the island. We contacted him with many non-trivial questions and always received help quickly. Thanks to the entire hotel team for the excellent service!

We all loved our 9 night stay at NH Havodda, from kids to adults. We stayed partly in a sunset villa with pool which was great and delivered a beautiful sunset. We then stayed at the overwater bungalow with pool which is 100% worth the price, especially as family of 4. As others mention, the reef is simply amazing. But the friendly, accommodating staff is even better. They go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be and no request is too big or too small.
