NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

The best snorkeling I’ve ever had. So much marine life! Sharks, rays, turtles, clownfish. Staff was so kind and accommodating. My wife had a wheelchair and they installed ramps for her to overcome the stairs at entrances on the first day. Buffet had variety.

This was our 9th visit to the Maldives overall and already our 7th stay at NH Collection Maldives Havodda. We spent 22 nights on our favorite island from May 1st to May 23rd. One of the most special aspects of returning to Havodda is meeting familiar faces again while also getting to know new members of the NH family. Whether in the restaurant, at the bar, around the island, or even within the management team. During the first two weeks, we stayed in an Over Water Villa, followed by one week in an Over Water Pool Suite. Especially the second accommodation was excellent and offered everything needed for an unforgettable holiday. We would like to highlight the outstanding work of Gokul, who was responsible for housekeeping in our villas throughout the entire stay. We already knew him from our previous visits, and once again we were extremely happy and impressed by his dedication, attention to detail, and consistently excellent work. Thank you, Gokul! A very special thank you also goes to Dewi (you are truly our sunshine, and we are so happy to know that you are on the island!) and Dada. We would also like to thank Hassan and Maikal in the restaurant, as well as Nishad and Febin at the bar. Seeing all of you again felt like meeting old friends, and your hospitality made our stay even more special. Another huge compliment goes to Jitendra, Moni, and Executive Chef Kris, together with the entire culinary team. They took exceptional care of us throughout our stay and continuously spoiled us with fantastic food and outstanding service. The culinary experience at Havodda remains one of the highlights of every visit. I visited the spa several times during our holiday, and the entire spa team deserves great praise as well. The service was excellent, the treatments were relaxing, and the massages were simply outstanding. We would also like to acknowledge Ajith and the gardening team. Their hard work ensures that the island is always presented in great condition. Seeing how much effort goes into maintaining the natural beauty of Havodda every single day is truly impressive. Hats off to all of you! The house reef and underwater world were once again in wonderful condition. Snorkeling was noticeably more challenging this time due to stronger currents in certain areas. We were delighted to encounter an high number of octopuses and sea turtles during this visit. In addition, we regularly saw reef sharks, countless colorful tropical fish, and even a few moray eels. One particularly memorable moment was spotting a group of dolphins passing the island while we were standing at the arrival jetty. The weather in May was generally very pleasant. The first half of our stay included a few rain showers and slightly more unsettled conditions, while the second half was dominated by beautiful sunshine and perfect tropical weather. Finally, we would like to thank the entire team for the seamless arrival and departure experience. From landing in Malé to arriving at the resort, and again on our journey home, everything was organized smoothly and professionally, just as we have come to expect from Havodda. We can totally recommend this beautiful Hotel. We stayed There in off Season, but were very Lucky With the weather. Also we had a lot of privacy Because it was rather calm. The Team members made our stay unforgettable. They welcomed us warmly, made every wish possible and were very attentive. We had an absolutely perfect trip. The island features gorgeous ocean views, magnificent coral reefs and delicious food, making it an ideal destination for a family holiday. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. Our butler Diego was particularly outstanding, with thoughtful, responsible service and prompt responses to all our requests. In addition, Maikal from the restaurant was very warm-hearted and amused us every single day. We are thankful to everyone we met on NH Island, and this trip will remain an unforgettable memory for us.
