Safari Island Resort

Absolutely beautiful island - so much so we've booked to go again next year. The house reef is fantastic - sharks, mantas, turtles, and the Joy dive school team are brilliant. I'd definitely recommend the semi water bungalows - slightly more expensive than the beach bungalows but not as expensive as the full water bungalows. The room and bathroom are huge and the decking is massive - and you can go straight into the lagoon and access the reef from your own wooden steps. The decks are also completely private with two lovely loungers and a sun brolly. Housekeeping is great - plenty of clean towels, tea, coffee, water replenished daily and the room kept spotless. We chose half board and this suited us perfectly - we're not big drinkers so just paid as we went - prices are extremely reasonable. Food was plentiful and lots of variety - I ate my body weight in breakfast pastries haha! We also used the gym - plenty of basic equipment and always quiet - only little suggestion would be to have a spray bottle of cleaner and disposable paper towels so guests can wipe down the equipment they've used. All the staff are lovely and friendly and we can't wait to see you all again next year!

The location was very private and relaxing, with a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were huge and included bathrooms with bathtubs. The food was delicious, and we loved everything about our stay. The staff were very nice, especially pastry chef Munthaz, the pool bar, and the bar staff. The all were so welcoming and friendly. So are the guests we met from Germany.

Amazing vacation, our second time at Safari island and it definitely won’t be our last. Food is amazing, staff very polite and do everything to make sure you relax, beach bungalows are beautiful and kept very clean. Then you have the sea the sun and a beautiful island. What more could you want ?

Our first visit to the Maldives was unforgettable at Safari Island. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was remarkable. The food was fantastic and our room was always clean and beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Safari Island. We loved it so much that we’ve booked another trip for 2027 for a longer stay. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful island.

Beautiful resort and a fabulous week away! Lovely sunrises, stunning sunsets and soft, sandy beaches. The wildlife was fantastic: sharks, rays, crabs and all the reef fish you can imagine - including Nemo and Dory! We swam in the sea every day, exploring the house reef and taking advantage of unbroken sunshine. As a small resort, Safari Island was perfect for a quiet week away from it all. We were well looked-after and our over-water bungalow was comfortable, with stunning views. The spa provided high-quality treatments, in a glorious setting. Dinner every evening was buffet-style, with a good variety every evening. We loved our guided snorkelling adventure and were particularly well-looked after with an early breakfast and boat trip on our departure morning.
