Safari Island Resort

Beautiful resort and a fabulous week away! Lovely sunrises, stunning sunsets and soft, sandy beaches. The wildlife was fantastic: sharks, rays, crabs and all the reef fish you can imagine - including Nemo and Dory! We swam in the sea every day, exploring the house reef and taking advantage of unbroken sunshine. As a small resort, Safari Island was perfect for a quiet week away from it all. We were well looked-after and our over-water bungalow was comfortable, with stunning views. The spa provided high-quality treatments, in a glorious setting. Dinner every evening was buffet-style, with a good variety every evening. We loved our guided snorkelling adventure and were particularly well-looked after with an early breakfast and boat trip on our departure morning. Thank you, to everyone on Safari Island, for making a special week feel magical.

It was a pleasure to stay in Safari Island again, for the third time. The rooms are clean and are made twice a day which is a bless. I highly recommend Dunys SPA for a massage and let me tell you they’re worth every penny!! I’ve never walked out of a massage this relaxed. Thank you very much for having us.

We had our honeymoon here and loved every single second of it. We stayed in an over-water bungalow and would definitely recommend staying in one of those instead of a beach bungalow. We had a dinner on the beach included, and a fishing trip. We also had our room decorated for our honeymoon and also for my husband’s birthday, which was a lovely additional touch!

My second trip to Maldives. I definitely recommend the hotel with friendly staff and management, beautiful scene and lanscape. Opt for water villas or semi water villas offerong direct access to the ocean and magnificent views. Try the Duni thaï SPA for polishing and massage rituals. Helpful team and nice ambience guaranteed.

We have just returned from 10 days in paradise. We were celebrating my wife’s significant birthday and what a location to celebrate it in. Our water bungalow was lovely the restaurant and bars were great the staff were so friendly and helpful which all contributed to a stress free and very relaxing holiday. A particular mention goes to Abdul, our waiter in the restaurant. He was so helpful and anticipated our every need. The decoration of the dinner table and our bed on my wife’s birthday were a nice touch and much appreciated. A couple of things could be improved. We were all inclusive but some items had to be paid for. One bizarre example was espresso or cappuccino coffee. Also the all inclusive drinks menu was limited compared to the paying menu. It just seemed to be a bit penny pinching and petty given how much we paid to be all inclusive. The endless signing of drinks bills was a bit tedious as well as the rule of only being able to get 2 cans of beer at a time to take back to the room fridge. A small adjustment would make a big difference but in summary a holiday of a lifetime.
