SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton

SAii Lagoon was a beautiful place. Boat trip to the island was great only about 10 minutes, greeted as we came through from arrivals. Our room was excellent, everything you could need supplied. Restaurants in the resort very good. Diving Centre was really well run and very organised. Did two boat trips. One to swim with Nurse Shark which was unbelievable also saw stingrays and a black tip reef shark. The divers on the trip were really helpful and very knowledgeable. Second boat trip was just to see one of the coral reefs. Great experience loads of fish to see. We all thoroughly enjoyed. They also give you life jackets so if you aren't the greatest swimmer you can still get involved and have a great experience. We would certainly do again if and when we return. Would just like to highlight some specific staff members who made our stay very special. Vishah who we initially met when we checked in, help us with arranging the boat trips. We had loads of questions which he answered very professionally. Gave us loads of advise and told us about lots of things available for us to try. Very attentive throughout our stay. Jebu who was our House Keeper. Worked really hard, our room was always spotless. Would check with us at least twice a day whether there was anything we needed. Room cleaned, bedding, clean towels and beach towels daily. Could not fault his hard work. Probably the best house keeping we had ever experienced on any of our many holidays over the years. Also would like to mention Yanti and Ana who we saw at breakfast always greeted us with a smile and looked after us really well, breakfast was always very good. Final mention is to Abdulla Mufeed the assistant General Manager, we got chatting over breakfast really lovely man. Invited us to a special cocktail event on the beach which was amazing. We saw Abdulla a few times and was great to chat to. I can not stress enough how amazing all the staff were at SAii Lagoon. However these 5 made our stay very memorable. We also had two Birthday celebrations while we were at SAii Lagoon and all staff help make these celebrations very special.

Amazing resort with lots of amenities. The reception is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay no complaints.

An unforgettable experience from start to finish, my family and I couldn’t fault the location, service, staff and attention to detail. From arrival, everything was handled without having to lift a finger, a lovely drink and quick explanation how the islands work- restaurants/shops/crossroads (marina) All of the restaurants were without fault, varied menus and honestly delicious food. An extra shout out to the Indian & Chinese, just incredible. The staff are some of the best we have had the pleasure to meet. We have traveled the world and haven’t been treated better- more like family from the moment we arrived. Gardeners/cleaners all went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. A huge mention to all the pool bar staff. Rahul, Prasanna, Ranga and especially Nabin. A true credit to our experience and friends my family now have. The host at breakfast (we forget her name) knew our coffee orders from day 2 (something so small can make a huge difference) We made full use of Ocean watersports centre. Using Jet skis, inflatables and an unforgettable 3 hour trip to see the dolphins, turtles and incredible marine life. Again all staff are a credit to the company. The App for the island makes everything hassle free, easy to use for the older generation and helps you relax even further by booking restaurants and ordering golf cart Ubers to take you round the islands We play a lot of Padel and would struggle to find a more idillic background to have a game! We found the islands to be a perfect balance of quiet, yet not deserted with plenty of things going on in the evening, or quiet places to drink and relax depending on what you wanted. We stayed in the beach front rooms. Again perfect in every way, one of the comfiest beds we have stayed in, ice cold air conditioning and a turndown service from Lamar and another gentleman we have forgotten the name of. Anything you needed they had it done before you could think about it. Speed boat transfer was seamless there and back and only 15 minutes (with a large crew waving you off the island with a “see you soon” banner) The only very small recommendation I could think of would be to allow free use of the bicycles around the island, with a large group this could have been costly to rent (but understandable) the free golf carts made up for this. We couldn’t recommend Saii Lagoon Hilton enough to anybody thinking about going. For couples or large families like ours. Thanks again, I’m sure we will be back!

We have just returned home from an amazing two weeks at Saii Lagoon. The island is paradise and the hotel is looked after perfectly. You can’t help but relax at Saii but huge shoutout to Ocean dive centre who looked after us when we wanted to do watersports. They are all very friendly and extremely helpful! The food and drink across the hotel are 10/10 and the range of cocktails are extensive. We spent most of our time at the infinity pool bar. I want to say a huge shoutout to all the bar staff (Nabin, Naeem, Tamang and everyone else) They are very friendly and made each day special, they deserve a big shoutout. The staff really do make this hotel extra special and I wouldn’t be able to leave a review without mentioning the legend himself LAMA. We stayed in room 504 and Lama was our housekeeper, he made extra effort from the start of our holiday to get to know me and my brother. He was always very friendly and brought a smile to our face each day. We both agreed that Lama made our holiday even better and Saii are very lucky to have him! Oh and he always did an excellent job of making our room feel like home. What a legend!
