Summer Island Maldives

I read the reviews about the resort on YouTube and wanted to experience it myself Last year, I visited the Maldives and stayed at Cocogiri Resort. So I want to see how different it is. A little disappointed that the receiving staff did not come to the new terminal building to look out for us when we landed. We decided to go to their counter to look for them after going thru the old terminal where the counters are located. One thing to note: do not get local SIM cards from touters near the official telecom operators. We bought one at Oredoo and the staff were busy on their own phone and passed on from one to the other, not being professional. But once we were at the resort, it was like a more friendly environment. We were amazed by the service provided by dining staff Rofiq and Sana Ullah at the Samuga restaurant during our meals. I was given ginger and honey( house remedy) because I had a sore throat and was down with a cold. This time round, I tried their daily complimentary 1-hour snorkeling, night snorkeling and ket-ski. We also had a great spa treatment at their Spa center.

An incredible experience but a few opportunities of improvement which could truly enhance this island

Our holiday at Summer Island Maldives was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Everything went smoothly, from the easy transfer in Malé to the warm welcome with drinks. The beach bungalow was perfect, spacious, comfortable and clean with a great ocean view. The staff— housekeeping and in restaurant/bar—were attentive and kind. There were various food options every occasion, even if you have any food-intolerance. The island is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. The flora and fauna are beautiful. We joined the snorkeling tour every possible time, which was also fantastic experience. The crew of the boat was also very attentive, provided us with information, watched over us in the water and offered a great experience. Summer Island is a real peaceful paradise, perfect location if you want to escape from real World for a while.

We have been coming to Summer Isalnd since 2001 and what a hidden gem it is. The staff are all so friendly and efficent. The room are cleaned twice a day and are spotless. There is a great selection of food at all the meal times and is of a high standard. We will be back.

It was an unforgettable, full of sweet surprises and memorable moments, staying on this beautiful island. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the front desk. The management has surprised us with an unexpected upgrade to the Premium Beach Villa, offering a spectacular sunset view. Our room is spacious and clean, kudos to the housekeeping. The beautiful white sandy beach with a magnificent sunset is picturesque. The F&B team serves a very good variety of food, especially at the Samuga Restaurant, which makes our dining enjoyable. The staff are warm, friendly, and always serve with a smile. Their impeccable service is highly commendable. Overall, we have a great and wonderful stay on this island. Thank you, Summer Island, for an unexpected upgrade and for making our stay extra memorable.
