Our second and absolutely not the last one very magic stay at Summer Island Maldives! Location: perfect distance and just right transfer time by speedboat from Malé AirPort :) Atmosphere: relaxad and friendly vibes from the very moment we left the speedboat to the moment we left the island with thoughts to comeback back :) Room: we enjoyed our stay at Superior Dubbelroom looking at turquoise sea :) Value: yes! Cleanliness: yes! Noise level: relax vibes everywhere :) SERVICE: Fantastic and professional service everywhere, reception, restaurant, bar; Hiri shop etc!!! We will thank to all of friendly, helpful and very engaged hotel staff that made again our stay just unforgettable! Our very special kind regards goes to Adam Rushdhan, Office Manager and his team who were very helpful and showed that we should not forger that human contact is much more valuable than digital technique! Our Holiday Review ❤️ From the moment you arrive, the island feels like a second home-beautiful surroundings paired with staff who are consistently kind, attentive, and professional. The food is exceptional, varied, and of the highest quality, with Samuga offering live stations at every meal, the chefs are always on hand to offer culinary advice, and cater to your needs. The Hiya restaurant provides an unforgettable over-water à la carte experience led by Chef Mohit, who personally engages with guests and caters to any dietary requirements. Each, and every member of the bar staff team creates cocktails and mocktails of exceptional quality, with a new menu and daily drink promotions, just ask them. The sea is crystal clear, teeming with fish, rays, and sharks visible without even snorkeling. Activities are plentiful: weekly beach barbecues, cheese & wine evenings with your feet in the water, sandbank picnics, sunset sails, fishing trips and twice daily, free snorkelling trips. Special touches include vow renewals, which look such an unforgettable experience. Evening entertainment to suit everyone is on several nights a week, the local drumming is magnificent to hear and see. Water sports are abundant-jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, windsurfing, canoe's, tubes and more-with Adam always on hand to offer advice on the islands snorkelling areas from the beach. For relaxation, the Serenity Spa offers indulgent treatments. Summer Island always gives us an unforgettable holiday experience with luxury, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality. Each member of the reception, and management team ensures everything runs seamlessly, making this a destination we would highly recommend and will return to. Just come back from summer island Maldives Well what can I say absolutely stunning , the island is gorgeous staff are amazing food is great..best holiday I’ve ever had!! Marine life is out of this world the night fishing trip was well worth going on & also the BBQ on the beach was well worth it.. & they even go out of their way to cater for your needs, don’t take any shoes as the bars & restaurant are all sandy take plenty of sun cream & high factor as the sun is extremely hot!! There was so much there to do from snorkelling to diving kayaking & of course swimming in the warm waters. Will definitely go back !!!

Summer Island is a beautiful island, the beach’s and snorkelling were amazing with lots of available beach beds. We were on half board and found the restaurant food plentiful and varied - special call out to the ‘fruitman’! Bar food was also good if a little expensive, and we enjoyed cocktails and the sunset at the Neva bar. We had a Superior Vista room with ‘ocean view’ although most of the view was of palm trees, which keep the island beautiful but bit misleading on room description. Room and bathroom were clean and well decorated, and daily fresh towels and water were appreciated. Restaurant staff, gardeners and housekeeping were all friendly and helpful, shame not everyone on reception was the same. We were told the resort was fully booked but apart from in the restaurant it did not feel busy at all. Our arrival at Summer Island was the only thing that cast a shadow over our trip. After checking in at the airport we were shown to the waiting room and told our speedboat would leave in an hour. After 1 1/2hrs nobody had come, we saw a boat arrive with Summer Island on it so took our luggage out but it left empty and there was no one to ask so we decided to return to airport and check. The desk was empty, after a phonecall and another ten minute wait someone arrived who seemed very surprised to see us, he contacted the resort and it was obvious we had been forgotten about. The boat had left without us, and obviously names had not been checked off. Many excuses were made, including ‘we counted and we had the right number of people’ but no apology. We had to wait another hour for a boat that was picking up staff, and instead of arriving at the island at sunset we had an incredibly rough crossing in the dark. On arrival at the island we were received again with no apology, when we said how unhappy we were we were offered a free lunch at the buffet restaurant and whisked quickly away from the reception area - literally carrying our welcome drink! After some negotiation the following day we were offered a bottle of champagne but we did feel an apology and even the offer of a drink at the bar when we arrived after the rough crossing with negotiations later would have felt like better customer service.

First time in the Maldives. This was the most fantastic holiday. The Island is just perfect and well maintained. We stayed in a water villa and it was kept super clean. The staff made the experience even better, so friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Biju our waiter who went above and beyond for us and became a friend. Adi, kept us topped up in cocktails but super friendly too. Andika, the Chef was fantastic, the food was amazing but such a humble and kind man too. Definitely will return to this paradise but also our new family.
