This Hotel is fantastic. Very beautiful beaches and pool areas. The house reef was excellent for snorkeling (7:00 am) we saw turtles, sharks, mantas and loads of other fish. We had all inclusive and definitely recommend this as this gives you Ala carte dining (lunch and dinner) We had and ocean cabin on dream island but would maybe choose different since we did not swim from in the ocean directly from the cabin(we went to the house reef) All in all loved it and we want to go back❤️!!

There's something magical about Olhuveli that keeps pulling us back. Four visits in, and this has become our special place — our happy place, our home away from home — and every single one of those trips has been with my son. We've tried other resorts in the Maldives, but once you've found your happy place, there's really no reason to keep looking. (The proof: friends joined us for the first time last year, loved it, and came right back with us again this year.) It's hard to put into words what makes this place so special, but let me try. 🏝️ The resort & the grounds This is one of the most beautiful and best-maintained resorts I think exists. The landscaping, the sheer amount of usable beach, the two islands (three if you count the adults-only side) — everything is cared for beautifully. There are at least three pools plus two infinity pools (possibly the longest in the Maldives!), and all with so much space that even when the resort is full, it never *feels* full. There's always a sense of privacy and quiet. 🛏️ Our room We stayed in the Grand Beach Suite with pool for the third time, right on the lagoon. If you're travelling with kids, I think it's ideal — you're close to the main facilities like reception and the gym, everything just around the corner. The rooms are well kept, and there's always some gentle renovation going on to make the place even more beautiful. 🌊 The lagoon, the house reef & the mantas The lagoon itself is gorgeous — paddleboarding, water sports, or just snorkelling straight off the beach. The house reef is amazing and you can enjoy it every single day: plenty of fish, turtles, even sharks. In the evening there's the famous Manta viewpoint where you can watch the fish, and if you're lucky, the mantas turn up. It took me four visits to finally see one — so honestly, I've decided the mantas are just clever: they only show up rarely so we always have a reason to come back. Well played. 🥲 🍽️ Dining We stay on the Dream Island side and normally have dinner at Malaafay. This time, due to some construction, dinner was moved to the main island — a small shame, but it's temporary, and the sunset view over there is beautiful, so no real complaints. The kids also had a blast with kayaking, SUP and the fun tubes. The restaurants are good, Crust and Flames is very delicious for burgers, pizza and pasta. Pizza Island as the name says- very tasty pizza. There are two gyms, one on each island, pretty well equipped. One really lovely touch this year: they organised a special sunset cruise just for returning guests, with drinks and music. A beautiful way to make us feel appreciated — and exactly the kind of thing that keeps us coming back. ❤️ The people who make it home Honestly, the biggest reason we keep coming back is the people. Over the years these familiar faces have become our extended family — the real heroes working behind the scenes to make every stay exceptional. The **Malaafay restaurant** team: **Amir, Swami, Osman and Hemant** — always a big smile, always polite and helpful, no request ever too much, and so lovely with the kids. We just adore them. Big thanks too to **Dula, Balaso, Bipin, Hasan** (the omelette king!), **Dwarakir, Ayup** — and all the friendly faces I couldn't quite remember, sorry! 🫣 A huge, extraordinary thank you to **Satya**, our Culinary Chef, who checked in with us every single day, made sure everything tasted just right, and spoiled us with little treats and surprises. Thanks as well to **Ziya, Shaun, Azar and Rohitha** over at Pizza Island. A special mention to **Zameen** (aka "BOT"), always around making sure everything runs smoothly on the island and with the team — and to **Bilal**, that big, happy, kind smile, who's been here for more than 10 years. Our Guest Relations Manager **Shifaz** sorted out our room requests and stayed in touch throughout to make sure everything was smooth. The buggy and luggage team, **Jahidul and Sankar**, our loyal friends. Our island host **Alsaba**, so welcoming and helpful. Aina who was also my friends island host, but was also super helpful whenever we saw her. And **Meri**, my therapist at the Ocean Spa — the Balinese massage was pure pampering. And of course **Shatish**, our housekeeper last year and again this year, who made every wish come true and kept the villa spotless — plus **Sumon**, who wasn't even assigned to our villa but was always there whenever we needed anything. There is always some entertainment going on at the lagoon bar, from live music to traditional Maldivian shows. Small suggestions- you could also add karaoke nights for guests, I think people would love it☺️ To every single one of you: thank you. We'll miss you, and we already can't wait to see you again. 💙

Everything was simply amazing! An unforgettable vacation with breathtaking, crystal-clear waters, beautiful sunshine every single day, and an atmosphere that made us feel like we were in paradise. The food was outstanding, with delicious, high-quality dishes every day. But what truly made this experience so special were the people. The entire staff was incredible—always smiling, kind, and attentive to every detail. They made us feel right at home from the very first day. A very special thank you goes to Shifaz. The Mini Club, was an amazing experience for our 4-year-old daughter. Every single day she couldn't wait to go back, which says everything about how much fun she had and how comfortable she felt. A heartfelt thank you to Lipa and all the wonderful animators for their kindness, care, and enthusiasm. We would also like to thank our waiter, Mamanu, who made us feel at home with his warm, friendly, and welcoming attitude. His kindness and genuine hospitality made every meal even more enjoyable. This has been one of the best vacations we've ever had. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable holiday!

The island is lovely, and the facilities and kindness of the staff make every day very enjoyable. We truly appreciated the Nature, the sound of the peaceful atmosphere and the kidness of the staff. We are especially thankful to Mahmoud from housekeeping, who took wonderful care of our villa. He kept everything very clean and created thoughtful handmade surprises using leaves and towels. We are also grateful to Amrit for his kindness and efforts to explain the ... less clean ocean's water for some minutes/hours during afternoon. Our only concern was the construction work taking place only a few meters from the villa. The guests should be informed in advance when such work is planned, and a discount could be considered for those who agree to stay under these conditions. We also would appreciate if the person who "welcomed" us could spend time on informing us about activities, excursions etc instead of only unclear information about "all inclusive". Apart from this, we have only praise for everyone we met. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful.

This was the holiday we had dreamed about for a long time and it lived up to all our expectations. The resort was everything we had hoped for with an excellent selection of restaurants and absolutely amazing staff who went out of their way to make this a truly special holiday. A particular shout out to Delaware and Kristi. We will certainly be back, hopefully quite soon.
