Our first time to The Maldives 21 people in our group There is 3 big island to choose from lots of pool areas, restaurants and bars. Great kids club amazing kids club leaders Ulfa and Lipa were amazing with our kids my boys are age 6and9 Great that kids club opened till 10pm allowing us to go to the adults only restaurant for dinner without the kids a couple of nights. We brought the boys to the buffet first then from 8-10pm they were in the kids club. I would love to come back. I would like to suggest for the future a idea to have a older kid club teen zone for older kids pass 12 years old

The food was of very high quality and varied. The rooms were cleaned regularly and conscientiously. And once again, I want to emphasize the staff we personally interacted with, namely the host Aina and the restaurant worker Balasa.

Our family recently returned to Sun Siyam Olhuveli for our second stay, and once again it exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport, the resort offers an excellent selection of restaurants, bars, pools, and activities, making it an ideal destination for both families and couples. Our holiday got off to a fantastic start thanks to Sultan, who warmly welcomed us at the airport before our speedboat transfer. He made the arrival process smooth and stress-free, and was equally friendly and helpful when we departed. We thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of activities on offer. Adam, from Tunisia, led excellent aqua aerobics sessions with incredible enthusiasm and energy, making them enjoyable for guests of all ages. We also experienced the jet car and jet ski, where Nido provided clear instructions and ensured we felt confident and safe throughout. A special thank you goes to our Island Host, Mayumi, who truly made our stay exceptional. She was always friendly, approachable, and incredibly efficient, arranging activities and restaurant reservations at short notice. Being able to contact her via WhatsApp made everything effortless. As returning guests, she also surprised us with a complimentary sunset cruise, which became one of the highlights of our holiday. Rajesh Kumar and Ashish looked after us brilliantly with drinks and snacks, while Max's live saxophone performance created a magical atmosphere as we watched the sun set over the Indian Ocean. The dining experience throughout our stay was outstanding. Head Chef Faisal Khan deserves special recognition for his warm welcome, passion, and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. The improvements to the buffet were clearly evident, and his ability to communicate with guests in multiple languages ensured everyone felt welcome. We would also like to thank Chef Zahid, who was always happy to prepare dishes to guests' preferences. We would like to wish them the best success in the future. Not to forget Chef Nasir, whose butter chicken and chicken biryani were among the best we have ever tasted. Sakir, at the Indian station, was also incredibly friendly and generous, always serving delicious, freshly baked naan with a smile. We also enjoyed dining at Namaste and Crust & Flame, both of which served authentic, high-quality cuisine. Having these speciality restaurants included as part of our all-inclusive package added even more variety and value to our stay. We would also like to thank the many team members who consistently provided outstanding service, including Nafil, Delowar, Mohana, Balso, Rajesh, Rabina, Rika, Riketh, Saiful, Hemant, and Mubarak. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our holiday. One of the things that makes Sun Siyam Olhuveli truly special is the way the staff remember returning guests. Despite it being two years since our last visit, many recognised us immediately when we returned in July 2026. That personal touch creates a genuine sense of belonging and is something we have rarely experienced elsewhere. We would also like to recognise Shaun, one of the resort supervisors and the wine sommelier. He was always professional, approachable, and happy to assist guests, and his knowledge and passion added another special touch to the overall experience. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Resort Manager, Amrit. His leadership is reflected throughout the resort, and his dedication to both guests and staff is evident in every aspect of the experience. He is approachable, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests have an exceptional holiday. Our second stay at Sun Siyam Olhuveli was every bit as enjoyable as our first, if not even better. The outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, beautiful surroundings, and genuine care shown by every member of staff make this one of our favourite resorts in the Maldives. We would highly recommend Sun Siyam Olhuveli to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday. Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning, you can expect exceptional service, fantastic dining, and memories that will last a lifetime. The resort is so busy I think they are under staffed at the main Restuarant. Staff avoid eye contact so you keep wandering around find your table. They so busy no attention to detail. Cutlery on table, clearance all takes long. I asked at the indian section for some sauce which was over, the staff looks at me no response. Not even sorry it's over or we replenishing. My daughter went for pasta, the queue so long.. the chef did what he wanted to did not listen to the ingredients she wanted. We were playing tennis and the ball flew over the court next to pizzeria, I went to search for the ball and the Restuarant staff tells me if lost pay 10000 Maldivian money. That was the help he offered. Shocking! The pavilion room near the pool the bathrooms are so small. No place to hang your clothes or towel. I went to the gift shop and was eating an apple. As I entered in the attendant tells me . You cannot eat in the shop eat outside with a stern face. Was like a headmaster! The resort is very beautiful with so much to offer but I would not go back there because of their poor customer service.

Everything was amazing! The beaches were absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and our massage at the Ocean Spa was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were friendly and the resort was stunning. The only downside was the overpriced whale shark excursion, which did not offer good value for the money. Other than that, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily recommend this resort.
