We stayed at Constance Belle Mare Plage for eight nights in July. This is as honest and balanced a review as I can give. We had a real mix of wonderful moments and some very disappointing ones. Firstly, the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive. We arrived in the morning before check-in and were greeted with a warm welcome and a complimentary drink. Although check-in wasn’t until 2pm, we were given access to the courtesy lounge, which was a fantastic touch. It included showers, a comfortable seating area, complimentary water and coffee, allowing us to freshen up before our room was ready. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views and excellent facilities. A special thank you to Emilie, who looked after us at breakfast every morning. She was incredibly warm, friendly and always made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye before we left. The spa is another real highlight. Guests have complimentary access to the sauna, steam room, plunge pool and jacuzzi, which was a great way to relax. The gym is also well equipped for a hotel, with cardio machines, dumbbells, cable machines and a spacious studio. Fresh water, apples and biscuits are also available, which is a nice touch. One of the biggest positives is the range of complimentary activities available. We went on the glass-bottom boat trip (available twice daily at 9:30am and 2:30pm), used the pedal boats and I even tried water skiing for the first time. They also have mini golf, table tennis, tennis and padel courts, all free of charge, which really adds value to the stay. We stayed on a half-board basis, so breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast was enjoyable but became very repetitive over eight days, with very little variation. Having stayed at several other five-star resorts, particularly in the Maldives and Dubai, it unfortunately didn’t compare in either variety or quality. I was surprised there wasn’t salmon or avocado available. That said, the fresh Eggs Benedict station, omelette station and freshly made crêpes and waffles were excellent. The “Egg Man” deserves a mention too – he remembered our order every morning, which was a lovely personal touch. One thing that genuinely surprised us was that a simple latte came with an additional charge, while cappuccinos and other hot drinks were included. For a hotel of this standard and price, that felt unnecessary. For dinner, we mainly ate at La Citronnelle, which offered different themed buffet nights. While there was always something different to try, I wouldn’t describe the food as five-star quality when compared to other luxury resorts we’ve visited. It was enjoyable enough, but lacked the quality and variety I expected. We also dined twice at La Spiaggia, which was a completely different experience. The food was excellent and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I would highly recommend booking at least one evening there during your stay. We also had lunch at Indigo, which was very good and noticeably higher quality than the buffet. Lakaze also serves waffles and pancakes between 3:30pm and 5pm for a small charge (around £5), which made for a great afternoon snack. Another nice touch was the flavoured water stations located around the resort, and bottled water was replenished in our room daily. Unfortunately, this is where our experience became more disappointing. On our fourth night, my wife became severely ill with vomiting throughout the entire night. We had not eaten anywhere outside the resort, so it could only have been food consumed at the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel nurse responded quickly and arranged for a doctor to visit within around 20 minutes. The doctor was excellent and prescribed medication which eventually stopped the vomiting. However, my wife spent the entire following day in bed and had very little appetite for the remainder of our holiday, which understandably had a significant impact on our trip. Our room was spacious and included a minibar, tea and coffee facilities, an iron and hairdryer. However, it didn’t feel like it had been cleaned to the standard expected of a five-star hotel. Several maintenance issues also arose during our stay. One chair was broken, the minibar door wouldn’t close properly, and the bathroom door repeatedly jammed. After it was repaired, it actually fell while we were out, which could easily have caused an injury. To the hotel’s credit, every issue was dealt with promptly, but constantly having to report problems is not something you expect on what is supposed to be a luxury holiday. Given everything that happened, we hoped the hotel might waive the doctor’s fee and offer us a late checkout, particularly as our flight wasn’t until 9pm. Unfortunately, both requests were declined. They did, however, kindly provide us with a complimentary lunch before we left, and we’d particularly like to thank Akshada for arranging this and looking after us. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay. The facilities are excellent, the location is beautiful, and the staff are undoubtedly the hotel’s greatest asset. Housekeeping also checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything, which was appreciated. For us, the biggest areas needing improvement are the consistency and quality of the buffet food, along with better room maintenance and quality control. Overall, I would rate our experience 3/5. Not because of one isolated issue, but because several different problems occurred during what was meant to be a five-star luxury holiday. With better attention to detail, this resort has the potential to be exceptional. Thank you to all of the staff who helped make parts of our stay enjoyable despite the setbacks.
My stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage was a truly wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality throughout my stay. The chefs at the buffet were especially helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. They were informative and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, pleasant, and well-maintained, making my stay relaxing and enjoyable. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. A special mention goes to soumyajit kanungo, who assisted us with great care and professionalism, and Vishal beeharry, who provided outstanding service and ensured that every detail was taken care of. The team at La Kaze there’s jay, ravi and also chef ravi who helped alot the restaurant was also exceptional, making sure everything ran smoothly and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Citronnelle were also very helpful, and the chefs at the buffet were always friendly, approachable, and informative. Their positive attitude and dedication truly enhanced the overall experience. I would also like to thank the front desk team hansha/ deepshika/karishma, who were always available, helpful, and attentive whenever I had questions or needed assistance through the app that is really helpful Overall, my stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage was memorable thanks to the amazing hospitality, excellent food, and the incredible dedication of the entire team. I sincerely appreciate the effort everyone put into making my experience so special. Excellent value for money, with outstanding service, great food quality, and a truly memorable overall experience!
إليك ترجمة طبيعية وأنيقة تصلح كتقييم للمطعم: The entire dining experience was wonderful. However, the main reason I would return to this restaurant on a future trip is not just the beautiful sea view or the atmosphere—it is because of a kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming waiter named Hans. He served me the best drink I had during my stay. Coincidentally, I’m a big fan of Hans Zimmer, the composer of the Interstellar soundtrack, and seeing that they share the same name made the experience even more memorable. Thank you, Hans, for your outstanding service and warm hospitality. Thanks hans
I had a great experience in the hotel, The employee Vennila was so sweet and welcoming and made my stay feel so much more special. I love the way she treated us with kindness, love and respect. She was always such a ray of sunshine. The hotel is so lucky to have such wonderful employee.
It was a fantastic experience. The 2 bedroom villa was spacious with private pool, very clean, with new furniture. We enjoyed the atmosphere, activities, quietness of the resort. All restaurants were beyond expectations with delicious food. Thanks to Kavita and Sharm for their help and availability all the time to make sure all my family‘s needs are there.
