We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the adult only Nirvana section. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and cared for. The service is amazing and so accommodating. Our hotel room was also lovely, with deep bath tub. It was cleaned and bed was turned down every day. We appreciated all the little touches and treats- the staff left a bucket of sparkling wine, samosas on 3 occasions during our visit. They also folded towels into animals! The staff are friendly, helpful. Special thanks to Angele & Kesaven ( Nirvana staff) and Baboo, Santy, Jaz and Meena from Jade restaurant. One of the best things about this hotel is the FOOD!! It is the best we’ve ever eaten, especially the Waves restaurant. Seafood is outstanding! The hotel is in a quiet location, not too much going on outside although there is a shop nearby and a new Art Cafe. We hired a car which was great to see the Island. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Le Méridien is truly one of the best places to stay, but what made it really special for us was our experience at Kumin. We had such a great time there. The atmosphere was nice, the food was amazing, but honestly, it was the people who made the biggest difference. Lovraj, Roshan, Umesh and Prajesh were just so genuine and easygoing. It never felt like formal service — it felt natural, warm and comfortable. They made sure everything was perfect without making it feel overdone. Chef Sachin and Chef Vinod did an incredible job with the food. Every dish felt fresh, full of flavour and made with real care. Some of the dishes are still on our mind. It’s rare to find a place where both food and service are this good together. Experiences like this are what you actually remember after your trip. To the management — your team at Kumin is truly doing a fantastic job. Please keep appreciating them.

This hotel is awesome. I just spent a couple of days with my parents there, and was impressed with the warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food we had. Shout-out to Sarojeenee who welcomed us at the reception, Gaytree and Neela who made sure our room was always clean and especially to Nicolas for making our stay extra special. Will definitely visit again next time I go to visit my parents in Mauritius.
