St. Regis Le Morne Resort Mauritius

We had the most amazing time at St. Regis hotel at La Morne. We were warmly welcomed to our Ocean Haven suites by Mr. Shahid the butler for our Suites. He made sure all our needs were taken care of, booked us our dinners and oriented us with the resot's facilities. We never needed anything because he was always one step ahead. Room care was excellent and all the staff greeted us with smiles. There is golf cart services if your suites are further away from the main hotel facilities/restaurants. The Mauritian winter weather is beautiful. Cool temperatures and no humidity. The beach of our resort is amazing and there is a coral garden where one can snorkel in front of the boathouse. The boathouse provides many activoties including snorkelling, kayaking, glass boat rides, water ski, etc. We tried all the restaurants there and the food was delicious! The breakfast buffer is beautifully organized and the selections are for every taste and culture. It is also heartwarming to see how child friendly the resort is and they organize many activities for kids of all ages. We cannot wait to plan our next visit and we will most definately come back to St. Regis!

A Truly Special Stay at The St. Regis Le Morne We have had the most wonderful family holiday at The St. Regis Le Morne. It is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel in an incredible setting, but what has really made our stay so special has been the people. We have felt so warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Dalini deserves a very special mention. She has looked after us from check-in and has been simply wonderful. She got to know us as a family, remembered all the little things and somehow always seemed to know what we needed before we asked. Her warmth, kindness and personal touches have meant so much to us and she has been a huge part of what has made this holiday so memorable. Ben, the General Manager, and Ajay, the Assistant General Manager, have also been incredibly kind and personable. They have taken such a genuine interest in us and our stay, and their warmth really reflects the wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast has been a pleasure every morning, particularly because of Manisha and Lucinda, who have been so lovely to us and incredibly kind to our children. As parents, it means so much when people make your children feel special and welcome. The spa is simply the best in Le Morne. Dewi has incredible hands and gave me the best Balinese massage I have ever had — exactly what my tired body needed! I left feeling completely relaxed and restored. Effi, the spa manager, is also such a warm, kind and personable lady who makes the whole experience feel very special. We have loved the food at Indya, but our absolute favourite has been The Boathouse. What a special seafood restaurant — beautiful food in the most gorgeous setting. Alla has looked after us so wonderfully there and has made our evenings even more memorable. There have been so many little moments of kindness throughout our stay, and that is what we will remember most. Beautiful hotels exist all over the world, but it is the people who make you want to return. Thank you especially to Dalini, Ben, Ajay, Manisha, Lucinda, Dewi, Effi and Alla, and to the whole St. Regis Le Morne team, for making our family feel so welcome. We are leaving with very happy memories, feeling wonderfully looked after, and already hoping we can come back.

Had the best time as a family of 4. Room, service, food everything so perfect! Everyone so friendly!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at St Regis Le Morne. Lovely welcome by Mr Benoit. We had booked 3 rooms which were comfortable. Our Butler Ayman helped with unpacking which was really helpful. Ayman's cool, calm and collected manner was appreciated and nothing was too much trouble. He even responded to requests when off duty. His team of Avish and Shaheed were equally helpful and we felt well looked after. The Hotel has excellent facilities. We enjoyed the cinema room watching the World Cup, unlimited coffee, tea and popcorn to hand. The culinary team are excellent. Executive Chef Bhutoo took great care personally and also Chef Malik, Chef Maneram, and all the chefs at the other restaurants catered for special dietary needs very well. The breakfast has an excellent variety and the freshly prepared juice to one's request is served. The room cleaning was patchy but was resolved by Ayman. Trying to avoid buggies when walking to restaurants was a slight problem but hopefully this will be resolved soon. The St Regis signature packing paper was not available and we did not use the packing service. We felt the management took any constructive comments mentioned on board willingly. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making our stay memorable. St Regis Le Morne is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay in Mauritius which we would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at St. Regis Le Morne. The room was big, clean and spacious. The staff was great and made us feel at home, especially Avish made this trip unforgettable. Our son still misses him. Can’t wait to go back,
