Veranda Tamarin Hotel & Spa

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius. The hotel grounds are very nice, well maintained, and offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is also very convenient, as you can easily reach most attractions around the island from there. The bay in front of the hotel is pleasant, and it is a nice place to end the day and enjoy the sunset. Our room was comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel also offers a good variety of activities and entertainment throughout the stay. A truly unforgettable experience was the wine tasting with Amar. It was exceptionally good value for money, and we learned an incredible amount thanks to his outstanding expertise. It was unlike any wine tasting we have experienced before. In general Amar always made sure every guest felt welcome and well looked after. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about fulfilling individual requests. His passion and dedication clearly elevated the entire bar experience. We would also like to give special recognition to Leslie from the Yeman restaurant. She was consistently friendly, caring, and highly professional, making every visit to the restaurant a pleasure. While the staff were generally friendly, the service was unfortunately inconsistent at times. On several occasions, we had to wait quite a while before anyone came to take our order, even when the bar or restaurant was not busy. At times, it felt as though guests were being overlooked, which is something that could certainly be improved. The food was good overall and sufficient for the duration of a holiday, although the buffet became somewhat repetitive after a few days. However, the kitchen was happy to accommodate individual requests whenever possible, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a positive stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel. The beautiful surroundings, the convenient location, and especially the exceptional service provided by Amar and Leslie were the highlights of our stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay on Mauritius.

better than expected. We would come back! Take the ocean view apartments, it‘s worth it. Next time we might not take the all inclusive.

This was paradise the staff were very attentive. Room was lovely. The pool was cold and refreshing. The hotel had a very relaxed feel. Music in the evening was good . The location of hotel was perfect for our relaxing beach holiday we wanted . The free shuttle to flic en flac was good and easy to use . The food was flavourful but could do with being hotter. The hotel was spotless the whole hotel was kept immaculate. The hotel looks like the pictures not like some places we have been. We would recommend the hotel .

It was a beautiful resort and I had lots of fun with the activities, especially with the ping pong table 😂. The staff was kind and the food amazing. The overall atmosphere was well kept, comfortable and happy to be around. Thank you so much

What a stunning hotel. Small, intimate and ideal for the travellers wanting a great place to relax yet close enough to go out and explore everything Mauritius has to offer. The rooms offer grass beach mats and a cooler box which you can use to head down to the beach (which is across the road) or for a day out exploring. Shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are all within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable offering a separate toilet and large shower and hand basin. Plenty of cupboards, a safe, mini bar fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. There are 2 swimming pools, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. The one pool and bar is reserved for adults only and has a great view over Tamarin Beach and the best spot for sundowners. Highly recommended.
