Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to enhance our holiday, despite the noticeable changes since Hyatt took over. A special mention to Ivan, thank you for the upgrade and help with enquires. Amondo who sorted out an issue with restaurant bookings. Enrique who always had a smile on his face and ensured we got to the restaurants' on time. To Deysi, Martha, Jhovanny, Manuel, Randi and Lorena in the lobby bar for ensuring our glasses were never empty. To Faustino, Ramon, Suemi and Antonio who were always there with a smile at breakfast and lunch as well as Daniel who helped me improve my Spanish. To the staff in the Al a Carte's, you made the meals a wonderful experience. A big shout out to the cleaners, especially Janet who always had a smile on her face. We had a wonderful holiday thanks to all of you, your smiles, kindness and friendliness (apologies to those whose names I have forgotten) We loved the Macrame and painting session by MAVANA and would have loved a chance to partake in more sessions like these. The question as to will we return, sadly probably not due to changes being brought in by the new owners. This saddens us as the the staff remain 5 star and were as always the stars of the show.

Lovely hotel. Quite quiet. Loved the fact that we could use pools and restaurants in the other 4 hotels. Trolley service between hotels was excellent.

We absolutely love to travel, and Sian Ka'an has become our favourite place. One of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is having access to all of the sister resorts within the complex. Every day feels like a new adventure, with so many beautiful places to explore. Sian Ka'an itself is a smaller resort, which makes it easy to navigate and gives it a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food was fantastic. We visited during the off-season, so the buffet was smaller than it is during peak season, but we always found plenty of delicious options. The à la carte restaurants were easy to book, and the quality of the food was every bit as good as it is during the busy season. The resort is spotless, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. It's just a short trolley ride to the beach. While there is some seaweed, the hardworking beach crew clears a large section every day, making it easy to enjoy swimming and relaxing by the ocean. One of our favourite spots is the Sian Ka'an Beach Bar. The views are breathtaking, and they serve the best margaritas! What truly makes this resort special is the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Deysi in the lobby bar, whose customer service is outstanding. She is always smiling, making sure we had everything we needed, and never letting our drinks stay empty. We'd also like to recognize Jesus at the snack bar, Ramon in the main buffet, and Abby from the entertainment team. Each of them helped make our vacation even more memorable with their kindness, friendliness, and dedication. We highly recommend Sian Ka'an to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing resort with outstanding service, delicious food, and access to so many incredible experiences. We can't wait to return! We are actually booked to come back in September and October .

If you want to do absolutely nothing stay there if all the fine is on the other side of the resort on the aqua mall Tulum side

This is not a 5* LUXURY hotel I made a number of complaints and even filled a complaints form in & reported complaints to Tilda the TUI rep, on return to the UK I went through the correct procedures reporting my complaints to TUI the out come was the hotel & TUI rep had no record whatsoever I was more or less called a liar. Lack of food choice, waiting 15 minutes for bacon, waiting 20 minutes for a poached egg, ran out of cereal, ran out of skimmed milk, just lettuce on the salad bar, no tomatoes, no mushrooms for omelette, no premium drinks, ran out of vodka, ran out of tonic water. Dirty toilet, pools of water on bottom & shelves of fridge and pools of water in front of fridge, ground to side of patio needed attention. Lack of daytime activities, entertainment at night (if any) only on for 45 minutes therefore there was no atmosphere, some speciality restaurants were closed and when they were open we were told no booking was necessary yet when we went to the restaurants we were asked if we had a booking it was an utter shambles. We are pensioners in our 70’s saved up for over a year for this £5000 diabolical holiday, do not go to this hotel it’s been taken over & they are running it down
