Overrated. Nothing worked, excursions all cancelled on us. Not much to do. Go somewhere else.

We had the absolute best experience here! I went here for my 21st birthday, and had a blast! The food, drinks and service was unbeatable!

Just came back from an amazing stay at Hotel Riu Cancun and I honestly had a great experience! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the hotel zone with beautiful ocean views and easy access to nearby shops and activities. The beach is absolutely stunning with clear turquoise water and soft white sand. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, which made the stay even better. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything fresh every day. I also really enjoyed the food — there were plenty of options at the buffet and the restaurants, so there was always something good to eat. The entertainment and pool activities kept things fun during the day, and the atmosphere at night was lively but still relaxing. Overall, it was a great mix of relaxation and fun. I would definitely recommend Hotel Riu Cancun to anyone looking for a beautiful all-inclusive vacation in Cancun. I would absolutely come back again!

I am low maintenance and barely spent time in the room. Location superb, service was wonderful my only issue was how small the pools were, for catering to that many people bigger would be a little bit better but overall I enjoyed my stay.

RIU Cancun – Adults Only All-Inclusive and honestly… it was a whole vibe. 🌴🍹 From the buffet loaded with options to the specialty spots, every night felt like a new food adventure. You could go from sushi to steak to Mexican in the same trip, and somehow still end up back at the dessert table. No shame. The main lobby bar is where the night usually starts. Great music, people mingling, drinks flowing non-stop, and bartenders who somehow remember what you’re drinking after one order. The energy there sets the tone for the whole night. Then there’s Pacha nightclub… and let me tell you, this place goes OFF. DJ, lights, packed dance floor, and people dancing literally all night. If you’re coming with friends, this is where the memories (and maybe some questionable dance moves) happen. When the late-night hunger hits, the sports bar saves the day. Open late with snacks, burgers, and a couple of pool tables so you can keep the night going while grabbing food. The live entertainment team deserves a shoutout too. Every night they had something going on—shows, games, music—and during the day the crazy pool competitions get everyone involved. It’s impossible to just sit there and be bored. One of the coolest parts is the RIU Caribe parties. You hop over and suddenly you’re in a full-on themed party with a huge crowd, DJs, and wild energy. Definitely a highlight of the trip. If you want to balance the partying, RIU Fit has morning workouts and activities so you can sweat out the margaritas from the night before. And honestly, what really makes the place stand out is the service. The staff are friendly, fast, and genuinely make you feel taken care of the entire stay. If you’re looking for a resort where you can eat great food, party all night, meet people, and still relax by the ocean during the day… RIU Cancun delivers.
