Sandos Playacar

We travel a group of 3 families we stay on the Haciendas we arrive at 4:30pm, I call before arrival to requested to be close by each other, after we check in, the put one family in room 6606 witch was far from the other 2 families that we were at rooms 7401 and 7505, we talk to them and they stated that they couldn't do it the day but they told us to comeback next day at 10am to change the room to 7601 and told us not to unpack at all because they going to move the luggage's , we come back the next day and the employee in the check in reception was really rude and told us that he didn't had no records or information of the room change and it was not possible until 3 day later we decided not move no more . Then had to find our own information on how to get around of the resort because the resort is really large . There is no friendly management on this resort, we have travel to many resort around Cancun, Riviera Maya and never experience such a bad service . I'd like to say that this was the most disappointing resort and trip I've taking. Also our 1st trip to sandos and probably the last! I would also like to stress that one of my families members that were in the room 6606 fell down on the step the 1st day she had to deal with the pain all the 7 days that we stay, nobody let you know that the Hacienda room have the step just be cautious. The service in the buffet was ok even we give them really good tips, the only really good experience that we got was in the steakhouse restaurant. Thank you!!!!!

The new sports bar is fantastic. Amazing atmosphere and both María and Loreto who work there in the afternoon and evening are absolutely fantastic. Love them both and hope to see them there every day.

Jose provided outstanding bar service at Royal Elite Members Club, always keeping our drinks full with a friendly attitude and excellent attention to detail. His professionalism, great personality, and exceptional customer service made our experience enjoyable and memorable.

Steak house was part of our trip The chef Francisco was amazing

We’ve always enjoyed our vacations at Sandos Playacar! On this trip, we had a large party have dinner at the steak house, El Gaucho. Several in the party have food allergies. Chef Francisco took extra good care of us and ensured that the foods were all safe to eat. He checked in on us multiple times during the evening which we felt was over and beyond expectations! I would absolutely recommend dinner at El Gaucho!
