Montenegro Beach Resort

Dear Hotel Montenegro staff! First of all, it was a pleasure to visit Montenegro as a country for the first time and finally feel what summer does really look and feel like - sunny & +30 with no rain! That was fantastic! My stay was scheduled 04.06-11.06.2026 and during this time everything was spectacular from the start to the end of my stay at the hotel! Everybody was so kind, helpful, and more important you do have an ability to smile from your heart! Whenever I needed to ask anything you have always been there! Thanks for that! The hotel itself: it was really very easy to move within the hotel and the territory became very quickly familiar, there was no problem to orientiate. Very clean surroundigs! Rooms: rooms are gorgeous! I was staying alone and sleeping on the king-size bed all for myself was incresible! The service and cleaning of the room was beautiful, every detail was under attention every day! Air conditioner, mini bar, everything worked fine and fullfilled at the right time! The food: I had "all inclusive" and the variety of food and drinks was more than you could expect - every time you could choose different combinations of dishes and after week of staying I still feel I could taste more and more :D The pool and the territory: stunning pool service! Pool itself waa big enough, clean and pool bar was always open! Special thanks to the pool bar staff with whom I became really close by the end of the stay, they even screamed every time "Hi Frieeend' when the saw me. Heartwarming 🥰 The sea: You were the only one who has a free pass to the see with no extra charge for the seat and you can swim whenever and as much as you can! Thank you for that! I like Luke (who's review i have just read) was very worried when i saw this years reviews for this hotel , but boy were they wrong , the hotel and our room including balcony were spotlessly clean , towels and bed changed when ever we wanted , great system to let the chambermaids know what we wanted doing with regard to the bedding and towels ,glasses that we had used in the night replaced. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the beach and again a great system for getting and returning the beach towels. Yes there was some building work going on but it never once spoiled our experience of staying at the hotel and one of our party is blind and he managed fine walking to and from the beach. We were B&b and the breakfast was lovely , such a great selection and all nicely cooked and presented , the biggest pears i have ever seen , just a shame there was no fresh orange juice only orange squash, the chefs were helpful as well when you saw them. Maybe the breakfast could start slightly earlier at say 6.30 am as we had to leave to catch our flight home at 7.30 am so we didn't have time for the leisurely breakfast just a quick cup tea and a croissant. Also at the restaurant i slipped on the Sunday morning walking to get to a table on some water which i didn't see and although it obviously spoilt the last day of our holiday (because i have a badly sprained ankle and bruising to my leg and toes) the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive and apologetic, all organised by the wonderful Jelena , she knew just what to do putting ice on my ankle keeping it raised and getting me to drink the squash , she managed to find a Dr staying at the hotel to look me over and kept me from fainting as i was in a bit of shock a quite a lot of pain , she had my husband collect a bandage etc from the hotel as the pharmacy was closed as a religious holiday (i believe) was occuring that day. The next morning all staff asked after me and again couldn't have been nicer. And thank you the entertainment team for the very funny sycrincised swimming routine and very clever can can dance. The only bad point about our stay at this hotel was i'm afraid the very rude and sour faced receptionist with no manners at all Marina. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and look forward to seeing what the completed building work looks like.

We stayed here late May 26... and just before we left we checked the recent reviews! And to be honest they worried us. Especially the comments around the smell of smoke & cleanliness. However on arrival our fears quickly disappeared. The reception area is large and spotlessly clean. The check in staff were friendly enough. I note that a lot of people comment on the lack of friendliness of staff. However this isn't what we found. They are professional and helpful. This isn't Spain or Greece so the culture is different. We were worried about the room smelling of smoke, however once in we had nothing to worry about. There must a slight musty smell at first... but my guess is this was due to the season only just starting. Doors open for a short while and this passed. The room was big enough for 2 and clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. A little small... but it was absolutely fine. The rooms were tidied every day with clean towels every day. And then cleaned properly twice in the 7 days. Fine as we're not messy and it stayed clean all week. A few minor things about the room... it is carpet so looks a little stained here and there, however it was clean. Also no kettle or hot drinks facilities. I took a travel kettle and asked for cups from the canteen which was fine. The fridge wasn't great, but kept things "cool" The pool area is big enough with plenty of sun loungers whilst we were there. Again clean and the pool looked clean, but was too cold for me to get in lol The music was a little repetitive... again I think this will change as the season gets going. The pool bar reasonable prices and plenty of choice of drinks. (Didn't eat so can't comment) The breakfast was fine. Lots of space and plenty of choice. Nice bread, eggs and fruit. Only used the bar once but it didn't really have a holiday feel. More like a professional hotel, which was fine by us. The hotel and surrounding area is having some work, and I think the main bar advertised (star bar) was closed. Also the beach bar / resturant is still beimg built. There was a little noise but nothing to bad. The resort of Becici is really nice, again a few places still closed and works in progress, however we found places to eat and drink every night. There is some construction going on so a few places being used as stosge (dumping ground) which hopefully the local officials get sorted before the main season. The views are stunning, it is so picturesque. The beach has plenty of space and sun loungers. The gym and spa was good. I'd have preferred it open a little earlier, however a nice run first worked fine for me. The hotel is a cross between a conference style and holiday hotel. And for those wanting a best friend from a bar man or waiter they probably won't grt it... however we're happynto be left alone lol over all we quite happy with it. And would definitely return.

Stayed here for a week, hotel is in a great location only a 25 min walk from Old town Budva if you take the tunnel route. It is in a nice quiet location. Nice size rooms and very clean. We went all inclusive and the selection of food is good although hubby disappointed there were no chips!! However the season doesn't really start till June 1st. Staff very nice and a special mention for Yusef Can he gave us lots of tips and some great advice he really made our stay feel special. It was our 1st time in Montenegro, it is a beautiful country and when we return I would stay here again. Big hugs to Garo the resident cat!!

Firstly, the cleanliness of the room was extremely disappointing. The room did not appear to have been cleaned properly each day. When we returned to the room at the end of each day the room was left more and more similarly the way it was left from the night before.  Used cups weren’t cleared away and replaced with news ones, so when we tried to take clean cups from the restaurant we were told we could not take anything out so we had nothing to drink from in the room come morning time. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the general standards dropped day by day, so much so the cleaners weren’t doing anything more than making the bed. One day we put all the dirty cups and rubbish by the door for them to take and they just picked it all up and put it back on the dresser. There were drain flys around the bathroom sink confirming it had not been cleaned in days. In addition to the cleanliness, there was ongoing building work taking place during my stay. This caused significant noise and disruption, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the facilities. At no point prior to my arrival was I informed that construction work would be taking place, and had I known, I may have reconsidered my booking so due to this, we had to pay extra for sun beds at other resorts and beach clubs to get some quiet. There was a ‘beer garden’ and ‘The star club’ advertised on your website and signs all around the hotel with an inviting menu but had not yet even been built. We feel there has been a mass amount of false advertisement. In addition to the false advertising, there is no signs around your cash points saying they will charge to withdraw money, therefore unknowingly I was charge €5.99 to withdraw. Had I been inform like I should have been by signage or on the machine I would have continued paying with my card. Along with this false advertisement, we were under the impression due to the information on your website that’s the ‘café Mika’ was also included in the all inclusive, this was also false. Being all inclusive at your hotel, I have to say this is completely pointless due to 90% of the food and drinks on the menu had to paid for separately. You charge €2.60 for bottled water in the room and disgustingly stopped us from filling our reusable bottles up at the “all inclusive” restaurant.  As advertised on your website, there was meant to be a privet beach for guests only, unfortunately there were children running around knackered clearly not from the hotel, considering I was told to “cover up” in the restraint even though I had a dress on, we did not appreciate the child nudity whilst trying to relax and no hotel staff monitoring this for the comfort of their paying guests. Most concerning of all, I discovered hair in my food while dining at the hotel. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding hygiene and food preparation standards. Due to this disgusting discovery we felt we had to dine out most evenings which completely defeats the purpose of an all inclusive. This was yet another cost we didn’t not expect to have due to your hotel’s incompetence. Overall, this experience fell well below reasonable expectations, particularly considering the amount paid for the stay. Your hotel is considered a 4 star but this experience was way under 2 stars.
