Alila Hinu Bay

Alila Hinu Bay is a beautiful and peaceful resort in a very remote location, perfect if you are looking to relax and zone out for a few days. We stayed at the end of May, so some activities were a bit limited, but the calm atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was lovely. The villa was spacious, very clean, and having the pool made the stay feel extra special. We enjoyed quiet walks, time at the beach, swimming in the main pool, and using the gym. Overall, it is a great place to unwind, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and fully disconnect for a few days.

This was our first visit to a Alila Property. Lower occupancy due to the current conflict. And some areas were under maintenance like the main pool and the main Restuarant Good - warm reception. It was wonderful to meet so many from India. The room is very well planned, loved the use of shells and natural wood and stone for the tables and benches. Thank you for the sea view upgrade. We ordered room service. The butter chicken was one of the best that we have had. Wonderfully warm staff especially Ms Beena at reception, Uday from in room dining, Bhagat and Mr Salman ( manager ) at the restaurant. And it was great to meet chef Suresh. Bad - there was no clear guidance for parking. Would have loved someone at entrance to help out. It’s pretty far away from the main road. Ooredo network is flaky in the rooms. Limited options in breakfast. Guess all that due to current events. Will surely come again once things get better. And utilise more of my Hyatt membership.

We, the Radwell family, stayed at Alila Hinu Bay in February 2026, and it was absolutely excellent. The resort is very remote, right next to the beach, with an amazing view of the mountains in the background. The atmosphere is peaceful, with very little noise, and there aren’t huge amounts of families, so it felt really exclusive. The infinity pool was one of our favorite parts—from it, you can look down over the sea and lagoon, and it’s absolutely breathtaking. Usually, the pool was empty, so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the surrounding nature. The food was great, earning a solid 4.4-star rating, with plenty of delicious options for every meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the waiters Ava, Zun, Eswar, and Bhagat—thank you for making our stay so special! Although the resort is a tiny bit expensive, it is definitely worth every penny for the luxury, tranquility, and breathtaking surroundings. Overall, Alila Hinu Bay is an amazing choice for a family getaway, especially if you want privacy, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful escape from the crowds.

The hotel was perfect, we loved our holiday we spent at Alila hinu bay. The atmosphere and staff gives a very relaxed and enjoyable feeling to the hotel.

An extremely relaxing holiday. The room was lovely but it’s fair to say that the surroundings are quite barren - it’s not a picturesque landscape. It was rather windy when we were there and the pool took the brunt of the wind, and we couldn’t have the umbrella up. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fine - not as extensive as you get in other Middle Eastern countries but tasty. It’s certainly a place to recharge your batteries and as it’s spacious, it doesn’t feel crowded at all.
