Crown Plaza Resort Salalah

Our stay at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah was nothing less then exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed as not like guests, but like family 🫶. We had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful 3-bedroom villa, which was simply amazing by waking up every day to sunshine and amazing views made the experience even more special. The food experience was great in both Ocean Blue Beach House & Bar and Barouk Restaurant by delivered top-quality delicious breakfasts to perfectly prepared Iftars, everything exceeded expectations. A very special thank you to Dexter, Head of F&B, whose leadership shows in the quality of service and huge appreciation as well to Nyima, Satish, Shansinle, Shiekh, Ahmed, Ali, and John as each of you contributed to making our every meal and interaction memorable. Chef Sumit Yadav deserves recognition for consistently delivering excellent cuisine - best omelette 🙂 . Housekeeping was also great and thanks to Anayet, ensuring everything was always perfectly maintained. And a special mention to Ahmad Yamout as being truly one of the best, always going above and beyond with a smile. This team doesn’t just provide service but they create an experience for us to instead of being here 6 days, we ended up being total of 14 days and with their warmth, professionalism, and all the help, they made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back - we highly recommended to anyone visiting Salalah!

We spent an amazing 7 days long winter vacation, in February 2026, at Crown Plaza hotel in Salalah. Although we were a bit without having to much expectation on the area, since it was for the first time in Oman but already spent a few vacations on various exotic spots around Indian ocean, we heavily enjoyed the experience at Crown Plaza. The hotel provides a couple of strong benefits to its tourists, here I have captured some. The great location, right on the beach with an adequate green area – very well maintained, scattered with palm trees, in between the hotel and ocean provides superb images. The beach arrangement is perfect with enough space, between sunbeds and umbrellas, to have some privacy among tourists, the combination of beach (very long and wide enough), sand (not rocky but smooth of touch) and ocean (clean water, not very big waves) is perfect. The restaurant (we had all inclusive package) is located perfectly right on the beach (with lots of seats so never crowded) therefore we experienced very nice scenery during breakfast, lunch and dinner; I consider the restaurant easily finds a seat in top 5 great locations we have ever been for eating on the sea side. At the end, maybe the strongest point for Crown Plaza is represented by the quality of staff/service and believe me, we are quite demanding in this respect. The vast majority of the staff I noticed to be comprised of foreign personnel coming from Filipinas, India, Bangladesh to name just a few, with very good English skills, providing high quality service throughout the areas of Crown Plaza. Everybody wears a smile and is very willing to help, from the reception where we were nicely helped by Darshana, to the pool bar where chatting with Hans was very interesting (even when we moved behind the villas for Ramadan 😊 ) and completing with John in the restaurant very attentive to our needs and the chef from Agra preparing delicious Indian style omelets during the breakfast only to name few of them. To sum up the entire staff of the hotel gave us the impression of very high professional standard and we enjoyed it!

We were on vacation at the hotel. I can say that the service staff is wonderful and very responsive. Of course, no one is local, but all people from other countries. This, in my opinion, raises the level of service, not the other way around. Due to the Gulf War (USA-Iran), the tour operator had to extend our stay by an additional 4 days. The hotel staff were very adequate and acted very quickly and accurately. The food was great. And the beach is an idyll. Wide and long. It was quite wavy, but we still didn't expect a smooth transition to the water. It is noticeable that there is water and all the green areas are well maintained. I didn't understand what kind of water was flowing from the sinks, but even if it was from a desalination plant, it didn't have any salty taste. Of course we used bottled water, which was available in sufficient quantities both in the room and in the restaurant. Due to Ramadan, the consumption of all alcohol was regulated by hours and zones, but we knew about this and have experience.

Perfect family Holiday. Enjoyed maximum comfort and relaxation in this resort, even though it is the holy month of Ramadan it gave our Holiday even more authentic atmosphere. Specially I would praise the food, great, tasty authentic middle Eastern cuisine brought to perfection.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and professional, and the hotel grounds were beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed the long walks along the oceanfront — the beach is stunning and perfect for peaceful strolls at any time of day. Our meals in the Ocean Blue Restaurant were delicious. The buffet had a great variety of fresh, flavorful dishes every evening, and the service was consistently attentive and friendly. We also went on a desert excursion during our stay, which was a memorable experience — the landscape is breathtaking and it added an exciting adventure to our holiday. Overall, we felt totally relaxed and well looked after throughout our stay. This was a truly enjoyable and refreshing vacation, and we would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah to anyone looking for a pleasant beachside getaway.
