Crown Plaza Resort Salalah

Perfect family Holiday. Enjoyed maximum comfort and relaxation in this resort, even though it is the holy month of Ramadan it gave our Holiday even more authentic atmosphere. Specially I would praise the food, great, tasty authentic middle Eastern cuisine brought to perfection.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and professional, and the hotel grounds were beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed the long walks along the oceanfront — the beach is stunning and perfect for peaceful strolls at any time of day. Our meals in the Ocean Blue Restaurant were delicious. The buffet had a great variety of fresh, flavorful dishes every evening, and the service was consistently attentive and friendly. We also went on a desert excursion during our stay, which was a memorable experience — the landscape is breathtaking and it added an exciting adventure to our holiday. Overall, we felt totally relaxed and well looked after throughout our stay. This was a truly enjoyable and refreshing vacation, and we would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah to anyone looking for a pleasant beachside getaway.

We were revisiting the area after being there last about 30 years ago. Mass tourism from certain areas has spoiled it Nice suite with two small balconies with sea view All kept clean and tidy by the lovely Faysal who also decorated our bed with flowers for my birthday. On half board with meals in Ocean Blue. Breakfasts very good sitting outside overlooking the beach and sea. Staff very good. Evening meals mediocre. Lots of stew type food. Food in covered tureens only warm and limp because of the condensation caused giving everything a steamed effect. Did have some nice fish one evening when it was grilled outside on a bbq. Not very good at refilling items that had been finished. No dietary information on anything. Drinks very expensive. About £60 plus 20% tax for a standard bottle of wine so didn’t bother with that. Nice beach area and plenty of sun beds. Nice grounds to walk around. Could do with more umbrellas. Went on a trip up the coast to some old towns and also round Salalah with a local guide/driver arranged by the office on the ground floor of the hotel. Pleased to have returned to see what was going on but would not return again.

The best hotel in Oman. Only few peoples, private on the beach,very good kitchen. And the best room cleaner is Jakir. View his make bed.
