Sao Miguel Park Hotel

We stood at this hotel for 2 weeks and had a great experience. Location is great, 10 minute walk to the city gates. Short walk to several restaurants, the mall, snack shops/cafes supermarkets and pharmacy. Everything you need is within walking distance. All the staff were very friendly, everything was clean and smelled clean. The hotel was recently renovated so everything was new. Breakfast was excellent, fruits and cheeses were always so fresh. Check in is at 3 but our flight was early in the morning so we went to hotel to drop off our bags and they let us check in early as the room was ready. There really is nothing negative to say about this hotel, we would defiantly stay again.

It’s a shame that such a great hotel charges for a little milk that I requested just to make coffee in my room.

Nice new hotel. Very conveniently located to all Ponta Delgada and Sao Miguel activities. Only about 10 minutes from the airport. The staff was great. We had a couple of days where the weather was bad and our planned activities (whale watching) was cancelled. The front desk manager provided us some great alternatives and that worked out really well. Nice restaurant. Good breakfast buffet and dinner buffet (that was included in our tour through Headwater). Free parking and free WiFi worked well.

I would highly recommend this hotel! The hotel recently had a renovation, making it bright clean and fresh- but the best part was the staff. Everyone working was warm and welcoming. The front desk staff had an umbrella ready to offer us in the rain, extra towels for our excursions where we might get wet: nothing was a problem they couldn’t help with. The restaurant staff were so friendly. They remembered us, always had a smile and made time for a friendly chat, and the food was quite delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is about a 7 minute walk to the pier with views of the ocean from our rooms. Don’t hesitate to stay here- it was really wonderful!!

Hotel has recently been renovated. The rooms are freshly painted with very modern decor. Wonderful lighting! TV, small refrigerator with safety deposit box. Balcony with a table and two chairs. Lots of room. Breakfast buffet has five different stations with many food options. Dinner is available also at the bar with excellent prices. The front desk staff will answer every question you have and will provide ideas of things to do. They also provided us with an umbrella to use during our stay. They will bring pool towels, kettle, cups and saucers to your room. Special thanks to Fatima, Nuno, Ahonso and Raphaela . They made restaurant reservations for us along with photocopying our trip itinerary. Indoor and outdoor pool. Lots of comfy areas to socialize. Live music on Saturdays at the bar. Walking distance to the shopping mall and Gardens. Just 10 minutes to get down to the Seaside promenade.
