Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar

My wife and I have just returned home after spending 10 days at Bahai Principe Luxury Ambar. This was our second time to this resort and we we’re already planning to return next year. Before our arrival we were wondering if maybe everything wasn’t going to be as good as we had remembered from our first stay, but those thoughts were quickly pushed aside. From the check in, to the suite, the pool and the beautiful beach, everything met or exceeded our expectations. There is a big buffet restaurant that offers a great selection and a different theme each night for supper. There’s literally something for everyone. We chose to eat breakfast at the Las Brasas Beach Restaurant, where Maura who has worked there since 2018, looked after us each morning. There are also a wide variety of a la carte restaurants that require reservations so there’s no waiting in lines as has been the case at other resorts we’ve stayed at. Finally, I’ll say that we really enjoyed the variety of nightly entertainment which usually began with live performers in the lobby area. It’s a great spot to relax with an after-dinner drink. We’re already looking forward to returning next year.

From check-in, the room, room service, the buffer, restaurants, entertainment, the pool, the beach, the very least I can say, this is a tip-top hotel. Expertly run, with the very least issue is sorted, there and then. We didn't have any issues! These guys work hard, all of them, to give us the punters, a stay to happily remember, and the urge to return here. Great service Amber.

very clean resort. Plenty of places to choose to eat at and all were very good!Every employee we met were wonderful and there to make our stay perfect!

Our friends recommended this resort and it didnt disappoint. We stayed in villa 60 (2nd fl) which is steps from the pool but not noisy at all. The beautiful beach is also steps way and you can walk in both directions. After check in we were greeted by our concierge, Kevin. He helped us complete our dinner reservations and took us to our rooms. Kevin checked in on us several times a day.. and night during our stay. I have never experinced that level of customer service. Kevin is a great addition to your staff! The food in the a la carte restaurants was also some of the best we have had at an all inclusive. We especially liked MEAT, LIMBO and Portifino. Shout out Julio who helped us with ordering wine at dinner. The buffet was good, but we did not eat dinner there, just breakfast. Lunch each day at the beach... seafood paella!! I should mention that this resort has the most friendly and accomodating staff I have ever encountered at an all inclusive in the DR and we have been to the DR 15+ times. I don't feel tipping was an issue at all. We sometimes had tip $s with us and sometimes not, but the service never faltered. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and the resort cats were an added bonus!

We had a great time at the Amber. Our room was clean every day. The food for the most part was also great. The restaurants food was very good. We did not upgrade at Meat and regretted it, my rib eye was not the best, my wife had the salmon and was quite happy. We had a small medical issue and the on site doctor was amazing. We thank you again sir. Over all a nice resort, we stayed in the adult section and it was peaceful.
