I stayed at this hotel from 15th of may to 30th may 2026 Positives: - the complex is very aesthetically pleasing - bar staff and staff at brekfast lunch and dinner were all very friendly - our room was very nice and and a great spacious balcony - the snack bars are decent, English is very minimal but there’s a menu you can point at to make clear - the water show, the rock show and fire show were very good Negatives : - entertainment staff show show no interest in English people what so ever, not even a polite hello. - evening entertainment was all in Spanish ( apart from shows stated above, I often seen all English people go to there room early due to the language barrier) - food was very repatitive as we was here for 2 weeks - There was always flies in the pool which we was around (fresh water pool) - the beer was not very nice and just tasted like fizzy water - Our toilet in our room would often not flush due to it constantly filling - our tv in our room didn’t work Overall I gave this hotel a 4 star however if the scenery and complex itself wasn’t so pretty this would be a 3 star in my opinion.

When booking a package it seemed like they put us in a room that was basic and no view. We didn’t like the fact that we didn’t get new towels or room clean on 4 days. Besides that the managers were very helpful and getting our issues resolved. Staff were okay they just didn’t seem to understand a lot of English. Also felt like we took a tour that wasn’t what was described for the amount of money we paid. Overall the experience was just that a positive experience.

This resort has stunning pools and a wonderful ocean view. It is clean, well kept, and offers a range of activities that include scuba diving certification. They have morning yoga, afternoon Zumba, and offer excursions at reasonable rates. However, at an “all inclusive” I expect to be able to drink what I want. That isn’t the case at this resort, which offers wine only at the restaurants and does not serve it at any of the bars. You’re also lucky if you can get more than one glass, as they seem to “run out” before the end of dinner hour. As someone who is wary of water/ice in southern countries, being able to drink wine instead of iced drinks is a massive concern of mine when travelling abroad. You may also notice the lobby bar shutters around 11 PM, and by then, they’ve “run out” of most cocktails, too. You may see them pouring beer not from the bar tap but from a large plastic jug by 10:30 pm. If you want to go to the other bar near the pools, you’ll face similar problems, and have to deal with whatever “entertainment” is going on. Despite my best efforts to avoid the water, and hoping that their ice was safe, I had an upset stomach from day 2 after having just two cocktails on day 1 that had ice in them. Alas, if only I’d been able to have wine! The food is palatable but average and I’ve been to other resorts in the DR with more range and better quality of food. Also quite cheeky that they have a sushi restaurant that is not part of the all-inclusive deal. The “adults only” perk is great but not at the cost of meagre wine supplies and the lobby bar kicking patrons out by 11 PM. I’m not here to party outright go t but I expected my basic desires to be met.
