Nice views, great value and peaceful!

Based on the price Is went with limited expectations but it absolutely blew away my scepsis. It is more of a boutique style "resort" compact but with all the basics. Because of geographical Location it doesn't have direct beach access but the hotel solved this with a free shuttle service. The "cliff top" location provides infinity pool views. Because of no beach the hotel has an excellent location for snorkeling & sea swimming. Very sturdy acces. The hotel is managed the local way you should not compare it to international chains like Iberostar or Hyatt group (Sunscape, Dreams, Secrets). But it is definitely a hidden gem if you look for an intemate sea front all inclusive stay that doesn't cost you a fortune.

We booked last minute after cancelling Mexico due to unrest. I think 30% of people there were last minute. The resort did a very good job when they had such short notice of just how full they would be. Our room wasn't super updated, needed new curtains for sure, but was clean and everything worked. Food was good, specialty restaurants did a good job. Everything wasn't always the hottest, but did have a good variety and good flavors. The pools were cool but clean, Views were amazing. Good resort for quiet, peaceful, relaxing week. Activity staff did get some good participation, we really didn't see any evening shows but heard people comment on their enjoyment. There was plenty of staff, but I am not sure they were all trained. Some really standing around. Not a lot of smiles, greetings, asking to help by the staff. Overall a fine experience, just not super customer oriented.

Hotel seemed lovely on arrival, however our room was dirty and in need of maintenance. communal walkways/hallways were dirty and had cups of cigarette butts left for days. we contacted the hotel prior to arrival in regards to Vegan/allergens options. Advised this wouldn't be an issue (reason behind booking hotel) however this was not the case. lack of options and signage. staff weren't helpful and unable to identify appropriate foods. My husband also had his wallet stolen from our room. Confirmed by police that a member of staff had taken it. Hotel management team were unhelpful, rude and very dismissive. The hotel's only saving grace is a member of staff Mabel in Guest Relations. She was honestly so helpful despite managements behaviour. She helped us in a difficult situation and I've forever grateful for her support.

Great holiday from start to finish . All staff were professional and friendly. Room was basic but very clean . Food was good and fresh , we always found something to eat. Good dessert selection. Pools were cleaned regularly and grounds were spotless. Would definitely stay here again .
