HM Alma de Bayahibe

The hotel staff is very friendly. We like that the hotel is quite for the most part. Very nice pools with the ssaside views. Food at this hotel was very acceptable with a fair bit of options. Rooms are very clean. Bathroom around the hotel are very clean. The staff has done a great job keeping the hotel upto par. Safe Travels,

One of my best experiences. Rooms are large and clean .Washroom have hot water and pressure any time of the day .Towels and toiletries supplies refilled Daly.Really friendly and helpfull staff.Food is avarege. We find something delicious to eat every day.Also the side bar and foodtruck have pluss variety. The pools are clean and not crowded.Sun beds are available all day . A nice intimate beach also available 10 min away from resort. Daly entertainment was so much fun to participate. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

The HM Alma de Bayahibe was nicely located on the Caribbean side of the Dominican Republic with no issue with sargassum. However, for an All-Inclusive, there was a tremendous amount of upcharges for many things like anything above well drink alcohol, steaks, and any lobster dishes as well as the entire sushi restaurant. The upcharges were pretty sugnificant as well like $33 for a steak or lobster and $24 for 2 sushi rolls. I am not opposed to an upcharge, but these charges were very steep, keeping many travelers who already spent $3,000 to $4,000+ on their vacations away from those options. HM Al.a can & should do better.

Bargain solo holiday. Loved the location. Lots of pools. Lots of great food choices.
