Impressive Punta Cana

The experience was pretty good. We had a great time and we were able to enjoy all the restaurants and facilities by planning ahead. The food and locations both met our expectations. The staff was quite friendly and helpful as well. Amazing room (We got an upgrade) and the whole 6-night stay was memorable! The nighttime entertainment was different and fun, for all ages. Quality hows across the board! Now, we could be nitpicky about the sargassum at the beach, but we knew about it in advance and, honestly, being a nature-related occurrence, we think it was nicely handled by the hotel. I honestly feel we got a very nice deal when we chose this place. Congratulations!

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing Experience I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Impressive Punta Cana. My family and I arrived on June 3, 2026, and by June 4 I was already ready to leave because our room had no proper air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot, and my kids and I could not sleep comfortably. We had a terrible first night because of the heat. Despite these conditions, the resort charged my wife's account for TWO NIGHTS. I find that completely unacceptable considering that the reason we wanted to leave was because the room conditions made it extremely difficult for my family to sleep. By Friday morning at approximately 8:00 AM, I was already packing our belongings and preparing to leave the hotel. We came to Punta Cana expecting a relaxing family vacation, not sleepless nights in a hot hotel room. Proper air conditioning is a basic expectation at a resort in the Dominican Republic, especially in June. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that approximately TWO MONTHS later, they decided to charge me an additional $192.57. So after my family had a terrible experience, couldn't sleep properly because of the heat, and my wife's account was already charged for two nights, I am now dealing with ANOTHER $192.57 charge two months later. Instead of making things right after such a disappointing experience, the resort has made the situation even worse by adding another charge. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Impressive Punta Cana. I expected much better customer service, accountability, and treatment of guests from a resort handling a legitimate complaint from a family whose vacation was disrupted. I am requesting that the additional $192.57 charge be reversed. I also believe the resort should take responsibility for the conditions we experienced and the fact that my wife's account was charged for two nights despite our terrible experience.

Beautiful place, amazing atmosphere, lots of entertainment during day and night. Food was delicious. Only complain was the bars, the service wasn’t so friendly, some of the attenders pretend they’re not seeing you.

I really recommend to stay with family in impressive. They activities is amazing all day long kids club, bachata , Zumba, Yoga. All staff amazing Lily, Alexandra,chocolatina , chocolate they are brilliant.

The only thing impressive is the name… We switched rooms 2 times because the AC didn’t work. Not to be dramatic, but it didn’t work *at all.* The outside air temp in May was more comfortable than the temp in our room. We were then scammed by the front desk staff to pay for an upgrade to premium. Received a premium bracelet, but not a premium room. After multiple more trips to the front desk, we were again given just a standard room and were told we could not get an upgraded room, although we paid for it. They told us to our face we would NOT be getting an upgraded room. Our third room was the same as the first two, but had mediocre AC. We then waited 8 hours (with two additional trips to the front desk to ask again, and again) for a cot to be brought to our room. With that being said, overall, the rooms were clean, but less than basic. The pool(s) on the “non premium” side were disgusting. Paint was peeling off the sides and bottom. They were overall dirty, murky, and gross. There was sludge and slime on the sides of the pool and debris floating around everywhere. The staff were, from check in to check out, very dismissive. They showed little care toward the satisfaction of their guests… not just for us, but we witnessed many others being treated poorly. Again, we got scammed to pay for an upgrade that we never received. The food at all restaurants was ok, nothing to brag about. Overall… not impressive. And won’t return.
