We travelled to Senegal expecting an amazing holiday, but we came home with so much more than memories. From the very first day, Dou Dou welcomed us with warmth, kindness and genuine care. He didn’t just show us the sights – he introduced us to the real Senegal, its beautiful culture, incredible people and unforgettable experiences. Every excursion was perfectly organised, relaxed and full of laughter. Whether we were exploring, learning about the country’s history, visiting local communities or simply enjoying the stunning scenery, Dou Dou made every moment special. We always felt safe, looked after and completely at ease, especially travelling as a family with young children. What makes Dou Dou so special isn’t just his knowledge or professionalism – it’s the kind of person he is. He has the biggest heart, a wonderful sense of humour and treats everyone like family. Our children absolutely adored him, and watching the bond they built over such a short time was something we’ll always treasure. The true measure of someone is what happens after the holiday ends. We left Senegal months ago, yet Dou Dou is still a part of our lives. We regularly FaceTime and text each other, sharing updates, laughs and keeping in touch just as friends do. That says everything about the connection he creates with the people he meets. It’s rare to find someone who turns a holiday into a life-changing experience, but that’s exactly what Dou Dou did for us. We arrived as tourists, left as friends, and now feel like we have family waiting for us in Senegal. Average rating. RIU does have over resorts that are much better. This one needs a good renovation. Our 2 bedrooms had cob webs, insect get in below the front door, frogs are able to get to the 2nd floor, ... The beach is very dirty. No enjoyable at all.

I spent a week with my wife and our 2 kids in June 26 and honestly I must say that not only we were disappointed but really disgusted by what we found...Worst 5 stars resort ever...all the beach was full of plastic and not only, cigarettes thrown around everywhere, dead fish and so on. While my kids were swimming the plastic kept attaching to their skin, when they tried to build sandy castles plastic was coming out of the sand, a total disaster...I think it is embarassing and shameful that a big company doesn't care at all about the environment where they do business and contribute in destroying it. There was absolutely no one cleaning all this mess, only a few guys taking algae away. In a poor country with so many people unemployed and where salaries are really low it would take such small amounts of resources to have everything constantly cleaned up, but obviously there's no interest in it. All the people from all over the world I talked to during our stay kept saying the same thing: the dirtiest place ever, I would never recommend it nor I will ever come back again! I hope managers will read this review and stand up from their offices going to clean up by themselves. Thank you Senegal for all you gave us, I hope better days will come for you after being exploited for so many centuries..

All is good, except few things. Once you enter hotel its like you are in another country. I have been visiting every year now and still enjjoy everytime. Even if its all inclusive the food is not good i mean the products maybe fine but they need to change the chef urgently. Anything you eat is really bad. Make is only with breakfast or tale measures pls. Also the alcohol gave us heartburn its very cheap. Also security at the entrance is very rude he was not letting me in just because i dont speak french or walof. Also they should include tax per person inside the price so we didnt have cash on us for it and they insisted, thats wrong.

We visited this hotel & Senegal on a friend's recommendation .We were nit disappointed. The whole experience was fabulous from start to finish.
