was at this place for 3 days. hands down the best location in Mahe. excellent beach and cant expect better view. rooms and entire resort is a bit old, but everything functions perfectly well.. loved the ambiance and pool and the indian restaurant. breakfast was brilliant and the services provided by chef Abid Nawas and his team Pradeep, Mohmad, Naila and Anella were worthy of mention since they went out of their way to help us have great food to our taste. one bad experience was the Pizzeria. one of the best location with very bad food disclaimer- I am a vegetarian so my experiences were for the limited food available at the pizzeria. but besides that i had actually wonderful time at the place so i am taking out time to post a review :) Enjoy your stay at this place.. and enjoy all the meals in the indian restaurant.

Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino was just fine for our family's needs, for a five-night stay in April. Pros: - Right on the beach (and a nice beach at that, with fine sand, warm water, and a small surf, perfect for families) - Two pools (a big, deep pool, and a small, shallow pool; the kids' pool here was twice as big as the kids' pool we saw at a nearby hotel, and our family enjoyed it--and the big pool--every day) - Free kayak use - Air con worked well, kept the room nice and cool - Playground right off the beach (beaut views while your kids play; our pre-K played on the playground every day) - Aside from the morning leaf blowing (why does the world insist on blowing leaves? It's SO annoying, just let them be), the room was really quiet Neutral: - Room was sufficient size for our needs, though a bit dark and the bathroom was pretty outdated - A few different restaurants to try (in addition to the buffet breakfast, which was serviceable for our family, we ate at the Chinese restaurant, which was fine, and the Pizzeria, which was also fine, and with lovely views as it's just up off the beach; nothing was award-winning, but everything we ate was perfectly fine for us) - The staff was friendly, though not always the most capable, like when we asked for things sometimes it would take asking two or three times; overall I'd say friendly but somewhat inept Cons: - The mattress was exceedingly uncomfortable--way too hard and springy (as in, you can feel the springs); please upgrade the mattresses! Overall, our family (two adults, a pre-K, and a baby) had a good stay at this resort. Our pre-K kid loved the pools, the beach, the playground, and the giant tortoises (which we visited daily). Our baby also had a great time at the beach and on the property. If you're looking for a quiet, family-friendly, budget place in an ideal location, this is your jam.

The staff, particularly at check-in, breakfast, room service, the pool bar, and the housekeeping lady, were excellent. We have problenm with TV and AC and was rectify the same day.👏 However, there is still room for improvement, as clearance of plates on the following day took a considerable amount of time. We were pleased that the extra bed was delivered promptly on this occasion. Thank you for welcoming our Seychellois. The pool was full with them enjoing.

Fair-priced family resort with big rooms or apartments connected to main building. With nice garden and mountain view in front and to the back also a garden area and patio with two pool bars and okay sized pool plus small pool for children. Direct access to the sea and beautiful safe-for-swimming-beach. Big clean rooms with good comfy kingsize bed and big bathroom with big shower and big hot tub; not so hot, but plenty of bubbles. Moderately sized reception area with photos of other Berjaya hotels, local artwork and lounge chairs. Friendly and helpful service. Four restaurants, one a buffet restaurant. Various options; local, Indian, teriyaki, Italian; the pizza restaurant served other dishes, too, and offered exquisite bay area and golden hour views (for more variety there are other (hotel) restaurants nearby). Breakfast buffet with various coffees and a big tea selection. Chefs made different dishes with eggs. A selection of three kinds of fresh fruit changing from day to day. Plus some vegetables, yoghurt (choice of one or two), cereals, warm dishes, toast, bread and some cakes. No spa area with sauna etc., but posters promoted beauty and massage treatments. Very small fitness room with old, worn fitness machines, but a small selection of free weights; good. Casino was not visible and not visited. No entertainment crew immediately visible (okay with us). Travel agency representative presence very infrequent, but QR code was posted to desk. On the beach locals offered tours, too. Any tour, however, should be booked immediately at arrival, as some island tours are only once or twice a week. On the grounds there is a PADI Diving Centre, which was quite infrequently staffed, but when present with friendly service. Diving equipment could be rented, but unfortunately no snorkling equipment for rent at time of visit.

It was nice but the aircon was not working properly. But overall we had a great time
