Lovely location, friendly staff and good quality food.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and enjoyed every minute of our time there. What a fabulous holiday! Our villa was spacious, comfortable and full of amenities. The large decking area had a table, chairs, and sun loungers and we had stunning ocean views. We spent so much time on this decking both during the day and in the evening. We are really going to miss our morning coffee sitting on this decking and admiring the views! The hotel has a bar area that serves food, and two other restaurants. Whichever restaurant you are in no matter where you are seated the views are fabulous! Breakfast is served in one of these restaurants and what a breakfast it is! You are given a warm welcome every morning by both management and staff who always go out of their way to find the best table they can for you. There are a wide range of different foods to choose from at the buffet, and there is a menu where you can choose different types of eggs and a range of other hot foods such as pancakes and waffles. These are cooked freshly for you and delivered to your table. If you fancy a little something to set you up for the day you can help yourself to a glass of fizz from an ice bucket. The two main restaurants serve a variety of local and international dishes, and to add variety there are three evenings where a themed menu is offered such as Tapas and Bella Italia. The standard of food served, and portion sizes are both excellent! There are different areas around the hotel where you can spend your day relaxing and sunbathing such as the pool area, and different small beach areas. Sun beds and cabanas are available for guests. They are of a good size and are in good condition and are very comfortable. Towels are a plenty and you are always able to get a lounger unlike in some resorts! Staff can’t do enough for you. They are friendly, helpful, interested but discreet and very well trained. The two main mangers who spend most of their time at the resort are absolutely excellent. Loes the Operations Manager is almost always present, and is welcoming, friendly and at the disposal of guests ensuring their every need is catered for. Jordy the Food and Drinks Manager did an amazing job. He was so welcoming and friendly to everybody. Nothing was too much trouble and he spent a lot of time getting to know guests and ensuring that they had everything they needed at all times. We really enjoyed chatting to him and finding out about places to visit and about life on the island. He really did do an excellent job and represented the resort so well. We would also like to mention Jamilah who organised our trips out and a late check out. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always responded quickly to our requests. Jony who ran the bar did a great job. He remembered people names, room numbers and orders and always ensured the bar area ran efficiently and effectively. Ricky who was often in charge of the pool area, made the morning coffees and served in the bar was friendly, efficient and so hard working. We can honestly say all the staff were fantastic! We have travelled widely and visited many places worldwide, we like to try new places and rarely go back to places we have been to before. They would have to be a cut above the rest. Northholme is a cut above the rest! We will be back!

The food was great, so was the live band. Jomy was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!
