Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa

My mom and I just experienced the best stay at Savoy Seychelles and are still soaking it all in. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine warmth and care, from just consistently kind and thoughtful humans. Andri, Tamara, Martha, Tamia, Andrew, Din and Humphrey deserve a special mention for making our time at Savoy truly amazing, but honestly, every member of the team contributed to something really special. Everything felt intentional, from the spa, gym, pool, restaurants, to the room which was beautiful, modern and well maintained and well thought through. You could tell there was care, not just in how things looked, but in how they made you feel. The best resort by far! We will be back.

Family stay with a teenager. Our arrival experience was very disappointing. The reception staff, of Russian origin, were speaking to each other in Russian without explaining anything to us, which felt quite disrespectful and unprofessional. We had booked for 4 people, but no beds were prepared for the children. We were asked to pay an additional $90 for extra beds — something we have never experienced in a hotel of this standard. Once the extra beds were added, the room became far too small for four people. On top of that, there was a strong smell of humidity, making the stay uncomfortable. The next day, we requested a room change. This time, the welcome was much better, handled by local staff who were more professional and attentive. We were offered a larger suite at no extra cost, which we appreciated. Positive points: The luggage and assistance staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a very large swimming pool and close access to the beach. Negative points: The resort is far too large and feels very impersonal. You feel more like a room number than a valued guest. For a destination like the Seychelles, this really takes away from the charm and authenticity of the experience. The restaurants are decent, but the food is not at the level expected from a 5-star hotel — far from it. Conclusion: Without the pool and the proximity to the sea, this hotel would not be worth considering. Personally, I would not return if I come back to Mahé.

We had a lovely time on our visit to the Seychelles. The team looked after us with extraordinary care and I would like to specifically shout out Abdulfattah, Andri & Devin for their hospitality. They continually went above and beyond throughout and ensured we were taken care of at every moment

From Korea, I had a wonderful first day at the Savoy in Seychelles. The hotel manager, Andri, was incredibly kind. He handled everything I didn't know how to do, such as ensuring we had a great room and booking a taxi to the Mahé ferry terminal the next day. I highly recommend this hotel. The sea is fantastic, and there are plenty of delicious food options available. If I have the opportunity to visit Seychelles again, I would like to spend several nights at the Savoy.
