Riu Costa del Sol

Amazing Hotel, With good choice of food and drinks,Location is great close to promenade and you can walk on the flat for miles in either direction.Train station is about a 10 minute walk behind Hotel, With trains to Malaga and Airport plus other resorts. Rooms are spacious we have been 3 years in row now and it hasnt disappointed at all, Dont bother upgrading room as the standard is very high, Staff are some of the friendliest we have met on our travels, They seem to enjoy working here.

Hotel itself is lovely, great location, very clean,nice pools, great rooms, lovely staff, The downside is the food, no way is it 4 star food, the italian a la carte is great, spanish a la carte is just same as buffet restaurant, Cant get a decent coffee with breakfast, only out of a flask,.if you go for breakfast at 7.30am the food is freezing???,.i would only give the food 1 star, food cooked in black oil, Topping up the dishes with the fresh put on top of the old, Such a shame as hotel is perfect, Not even any ice lollys or icecream through the day, I would 100% go back to the hotel but wouldnt eat there, And cocktails are all slush pre made The oil? Cooking fish in it one night and potatoes in it in the morning

I wanted to share some quick feedback about our recent stay. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive—they truly made sure all our needs were met. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety each day. We especially enjoyed the three pools, which had lots of sunbeds available, making it easy to relax. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that the pools were freezing. It's not a great experience sunbathing and not able to cool off in a pool because it's too cold. Perhaps a small investment in solar panels to gently warm the water would be appreciated by many guests. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and look forward to returning.

Had a lovely time the entertainment team were fabulous the room was nice and clean we have been here four times but this time the food was a bit off very cold and some food was not cooked very pink chicken someone in front of me in the queue dropped the tongs that you pick the food up with on to the floor the lady behind the counter picked them up and wiped them with her dirty apron and put them back not good think they need to look at the food stations and have space tongs for accidents that happen every thing else was lovely

The stay (Hotel Riu Costa del Sol) is ok. But the service (?) of their customer department is very, very, bad. They give the impression that the customer (=me) is not telling the truth. So a simple, polite, question for a refund of 20 euro (=1,15% of the payment for our stay) is refused. No service
