Overall, we left the hotel feeling quite disappointed. While there were certainly some positive aspects to the holiday, there were also too many issues and unexpected extra charges for it to feel like the relaxing all-inclusive experience we had been expecting. At times, it felt as though the resort was more focused on charging guests extra wherever possible rather than providing genuine customer service and value. Unfortunately, this took away from what could otherwise have been a much more enjoyable stay. The entertainment each evening was genuinely one of the best parts of the holiday and was easily five-star quality. Every performer and band was excellent and created a fantastic atmosphere every night. Unfortunately, the experience was let down slightly by the lack of seating inside the main bar area. Unless you arrived very early, it was difficult to get a table and many guests were left standing near the back by the bar. There was outdoor seating available, but inside seating was clearly insufficient for the number of guests. The food was acceptable overall and there was a reasonable amount of choice, but after a few days it became very repetitive with little variation from day to day. The quality was also inconsistent, the meats in particular were often quite bland and lacking flavour. Another issue was that food labelling was unclear or missing at times, which made it difficult for guests with allergies or dietary requirements to feel confident about what they were eating. My partner became sick after eating some of the food one night which raised a bit of a concern for us. It was also frustrating how frequently popular items would run out quickly and then take a long time to be replenished. On the positive side, the restaurant staff were excellent throughout the stay: always friendly, hardworking, attentive, and very efficient at clearing and resetting tables The pools themselves were a good size, although they were extremely cold during our stay. This may have been partly due to the weather, which unfortunately wasn’t great while we were there. The snack bars were convenient in the event that the restaurants were closed, however due to the lack of coverings over the food, we noticed quite a a few times flies and birds pecking/landing on the food which became quite off-putting. There was a decent selection of drinks included, but we found it very disappointing that certain cocktails and iced coffees were excluded from the all-inclusive package and required an additional charge. Considering hot coffees were included, it made very little sense that iced coffees were not, especially as this has never been an issue at other all-inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at. The cocktails were also made from a machine rather than by hand meaning that they tasted more like ice than an actual cocktail. The rooms were clean, spacious, and generally comfortable, but there were still problems that should not really happen in a hotel of this standard. Our room was unfortunately located right beside the elevators, which became quite noisy at night and disrupted sleep. The shower was also very poor, constantly switching between freezing cold and boiling hot water without warning. On top of that, there was a leak from the top of the shower which sprayed water across the bathroom floor every time it was used. The sea views were absolutely stunning and easily one of the highlights of the hotel, especially at sunrise. That was genuinely beautiful and something we will remember from the trip. One issue that became increasingly frustrating was the sunbed situation. We were specifically told on arrival that reserving sunbeds with towels was not allowed, yet by around 8:30am nearly every sunbed was already “reserved.” Many of these beds then remained empty for hours while other guests were left without anywhere to sit. It was disappointing to see that this rule clearly was not enforced at all. We also felt there were far too many unnecessary extra charges throughout the stay. We fully expected the tourist tax of approximately €46 as this had been clearly advertised beforehand, but the additional charges constantly added up and left a negative impression. Pool towels required a €10 deposit each, changing towels cost another €1 each time, and guests were expected to use plastic cup tokens at the bars, with yet another €1 charge if a token was lost. These may seem small individually, but together they made the hotel feel overly focused on charging guests extra wherever possible. The hotel advertised free WiFi, but the connection provided was extremely slow and unreliable, barely usable for basic browsing. If you actually wanted WiFi that worked properly, you were expected to pay an additional charge for the upgraded service, which felt quite unreasonable. In this day and age, a stable internet connection should really be included as standard rather than treated as a premium extra The biggest disappointment of the entire holiday came at the end of our stay. As soon as we checked out at 12pm, our all-inclusive package was immediately removed, despite the fact we had paid for a Saturday-to-Saturday holiday. This honestly felt like a complete rip off and left a very negative final impression. Guests should still be able to use the all-inclusive facilities until they actually leave the hotel, especially on departure day. Instead, we were told we would need to pay an additional €25 per person just to continue using facilities we had already paid for. After spending a significant amount on the holiday itself, this came across as extremely unfair and felt more like a money-making tactic than genuine customer service. Overall we found the week very un-relaxing and will not be returning to this resort.
Had a lovely relaxing break at this hotel. Wanted a good hotel with good food in a picturesque location with a little life nearby, and this is exactly what we got! Lovely square of shops nearby to venture out to, boat trip and excursions can be booked at beach which is a 20 min walk away (can walk round if barriers close walk way) lots of little coves nearby to explore. The entertainment was better than expected, and the activities around pool although quiter were not overbearing if you wanted to relax. Negatives; evening food in restaurant generally only warm not hot and plain rice chewy, but lots of variety and most of the food great and presented beautifully. Rooms a little dated / worn but clean and spacious, beds spotless but very hard! Indoor pool closed and outdoor pools not open until 10am and close at 6pm and were freezing! Some people commented ‘not much to do’ but there is a lovely square full of shops and a few bars a 10 min walk from hotel and more towards walk to beach if you walk via the road and not the sea path, you just need to venture out! There’s even crazy golf with goats and piglets and an arcade. The boat excursion (full day) was 32 euros at beach worth it if you have the weather but stop over at Porte Christo not a great deal to do so if was looking for a beach would of got off at Sa Coma instead. Lots of stops along way. Found out also later that best town to visit is Cala d’Or but we ran out of time but apparently 50 mins on bus. We highly recommend the Thai massage with Kim we found along the street on way to beach too, great price and amazing massage. We was looking for a lovely relaxing break and this is what we got with a great AI package and amazing sea views
We had a wonderful stay here and loved the food on offer. There was so much choice between the 2 restaurants and snack bar and always found the food fresh and well cooked. The location was lovely and we enjoyed daily walks to the nearby beaches which were stunning. The staff were always friendly and entertainment staff worked so hard to keep guests happy and entertained. When the hotel found out it was my dad’s 70th the left chocolates and fizz in the room with a nice card, this was a lovely touch! We hope to come back one day.
This hotel is a bit 'middling' to say the least, on arrival, we were see pretty quickly and checked in, we were given a room in the mirador building, room 813. overall the hotel is in 'OK' shape but it lacks maintenance, nothing big, just lots of silly little things. Good Bits - check in was swift, glass of fizz on arrival. Hotel is clean Food is decent, although the 'theme nights' are hardly themed really. Snack bars are particularly good & handy The view from 813 is spectacular. Our room was spacious. the bar staff at Jumper and the daytime entertainment staff work hard. Bad bits - The ladies toilets in 'Jumper' and on the grassed area outside, all cubicle doors are broken in some way, whether it's broken locks or handles and in the 'grassed area one' there is a hole in the floor. The all inclusive part, is not really all inclusive, when you arrive, there is a basic all inc. menu and a 'pay for' drinks menu, which is fine if you know up front. There are not enough sun beds. The hotel allegedly operates a policy where sun bed reservation is banned. 100% not true, every day before 7AM 3/4 of sun beds have been reserved with no-one sat on them. my wife got up early to watch the sunrise one morning at 6:30 and people were down by the pool picking their spot for the day. The lifts are very hit & miss, they are either slow, out of service or the display screens inside them either don't work or are frozen, one of them still has the weather forecast from June 25 on the screen, long enough I would think for it to be repaired. The indoor pool was closed, even on the windy days, it's not heated and it looks a bit sad and un-loved. reception staff at check-out, were just not nice, it's about dropping off the conveyor belt. I don't have kids, but i didn't see a lot for kids to do, there is no kids club Jumper - were happy to let us use our 330ml travel cups for our drinks, (angel, lovely chap, looked after us really well) however in the pool bar the bar manager there was aggressive about them being banned. Overall i'd say our stay was below average, hence the 2 start review, it could be a really nice hotel, I think if the following were looked at :- Sunbed policy. Outdoor bar being opened in May 'Jumper' sports bar being opened past 6, really should be up to 11 - if they want people to buy off the pay for menu, why not open the bar for football!! all you do is push people into town for the local bars The 'token' system for drinks, i get it, it's awkward, for sustainability, why not let customers use their travel cups, let your customers do sustainability for you.. overall a middling to poor experience.
We loved this place and from the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We booked the my favorite club which gives you access to a quiet lounge where drink and food is on tap. Marilena shown us round and explained everything and told us should we been anything she would be on hand. What a loverly lady and really did make our holiday special. Always took time to make sure we were okay and was anything we needed. Also Karen on the bar was great. To be honest all the staff were fantastic. What a credit to the hotel. We stopped 8 nights but if we were to come again it would be a shorter break. If you want to relax, eat and drink and feel special well this is the place. Thank you so much and hope to see you all again soon. May 26. Room 0417

We highly recommend the Thai massage with Kim we found along the street on way to beach too, great price and amazing massage. We was looking for a lovely relaxing break and this is what we got with a great AI package and amazing sea views
