A Fantastic Family Stay – The Animation Team Saved the Day! We stayed at the Iberostar Waves Alcudia,May 2026, and we had a wonderful family holiday despite the weather not being on our side. Because the weather was a bit chilly and the indoor pool wasn't quite as warm as we hoped, we relied heavily on the hotel's entertainment to keep our child occupied—and wow, did they deliver! **The animation team was absolutely incredible.** They were so energetic, welcoming, and engaging that our child fell completely in love with the kids' club and activities. They truly went above and beyond every single day, turning what could have been a gray, disappointing week into an extremely fun and memorable vacation for our family. **Bottom line:** The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s the staff and the brilliant animation team that make this place a 5-star experience for families. We would definitely return!

We went to this hotel with my mum for a 70th birthday celebration, myself and sister and her 2 year old. We booked via easyJet and booked a family room with twin bedrooms and cot. On late arrival at hotel due to delay, we were warmly welcomed with assistance from the roadside by a very sweet bellboy. Sadly the room was not as sold. It had a double bed which couldn’t be separated and no twins rooms available in the hotel. The room was tiny and no cot had been put in the room. We had to arrange furniture at almost midnight with a sleeping toddler to fit the cot in and make the family configuration work. Space and layout was a major issue with the room and we were only offered an option to upgrade for £350 but with no guarantee of a bigger space. The hotel said it was limited what they could do as it was booked and misold by easyJet. There was no kitchenette available and we were provided with a kettle which we used in the bathroom on request. Otherwise, all other areas of this hotel are beautiful and so well tailored for young families. It is spotlessly clean, has a beautiful pool area and direct access to the gorgeous beach. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant (Vargas, Sebastian and Monica). This hotel is not suited to people without children.
