Well mannered profesional staff, excellent food well above expectations for a 3 star resort, would return and recommend

What we experienced at this hotel was honestly quite shocking. We checked in very late, around 3 AM. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a strong smell of urine coming from the bathroom. At first, we tried to explain it away, thinking maybe it was due to pipes or a toilet brush, especially since the season hadn’t fully started yet. However, near the sink and in the corner by the wall, there were visible yellow stains, and even the toilet paper looked contaminated. When we checked more closely, it became clear that someone before us had urinated on the sink, the wall, and the toilet paper. It was absolutely unacceptable. The room itself was also in poor condition, there were ants walking around, and there were unpleasant marks on the walls and curtains that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Despite it being May and still quite cold at night, the room was not properly prepared, there was no bedding for the sofa in the living area, and only a very thin sheet was provided instead of a proper duvet. When we called reception, we were initially told that it was too late and nothing could be done. However, after we insisted that we could not stay in that room, another one was eventually found. We do appreciate that, as the condition of the first room was completely unacceptable. I’m honestly glad that we only stayed for two nights as part of a short weekend trip. The resort is very large, it took about 15 minutes to walk from our accommodation to the reception. On a positive note, the food was good and we have no complaints in that regard. Our return flight was quite late, at 11 PM. When we asked about a late check-out, we were told to check again on the same day. However, on the last day we were informed that we had to leave the room at 12 PM, to help us out we were offered to keep our all-inclusive wristbands so that we could continue using the restaurants and facilities after checking out. I have travelled many times before, and usually guests can continue to use all amenities until their transfer time. Has this changed? It felt unusual that after check-out access to the hotel facilities and restaurants would be restricted. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness standard was very poor, which significantly affected our staay.

Cant fault the hotel at all, the animation team are fantastic and deserve so much credit for all the hard work and effort they put in they honestly make the holiday from the entertainment round the pool to the kids club and evening entertainment. Big shout out to greta who is amazing at her job, so friendly and welcoming!! Will def be back
