Grupotel Taurus Park

Very bad experience. Communication with the receptionist is like spitting in the face of a guest.. the hotel is far from worth the price indicated and which we paid. There was no electricity in the bathroom. The pool only opens at 10 am and if you want to swim or lie by the pool before breakfast, you can't do it, the door to the pool is locked like in a prison. The indoor pool should open from 7 am but it is also locked everywhere and there are not even any signs anywhere. Very low level. We travel a lot and have visited many hotels in the world, but this hotel left a terrible disappointment. Communication at the reception is rude, without apologies and worth zero.

We visited the fantastic Taurus Park in June 2026 for a two week stay for the first time since 1988 and I have to say, we loved it as much now as we did then. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and comfortable. The first friendly we saw on arrival was the lovely Javier at Reception. He is a great guy, a class act and a definite asset to Taurus Park and Grupotel. (He was the last face we seen too upon departure and Freddy too of course!). All Reception Staff are excellent, very professional, helpful and friendly - nothing is a problem for them. The full hotel is absolutely spotless, from the rooms, the restaurant, the foyer, the entrance, the pool area, the corridors, the bar area, the sun loungers and the indoor pool, everywhere is cleaned daily to a very high standard. The maid on the 9th floor between 2nd-16th June was brilliant, again, nothing was a problem for her. The food is delicious. There’s a large varied choice every day for breakfast and dinner, something to suit everyone. They have a large table within the restaurant with a different theme every evening - Spanish, Mexican, Asian, Japanese and so on. I found this to be a fantastic touch to add. The Restaurant Staff are excellent too. Vanesa could do her job standing on her head, she is another class act. Loli, Eva, Isa and the Chefs are all great, very helpful, professional and friendly. Freddy at the Bar is another asset to the hotel, an all round great guy. Lena, Guest Relations is in the perfect role in the hotel. A lovely girl with the personality to match. She’s a diamond. She is very down to earth, friendly, helpful, professional and cares about the guests and their welfare. The security guards presence within the hotel makes everyone feel safe during the day and at night… not forgetting the lifeguard whose presence every day was welcoming and everyone felt safe in the water. The WiFi in the hotel is the best WiFi I’ve ever experienced when I’ve been abroad and I go abroad often. The Air Con and Showers in the rooms are excellent too. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working perfectly and we cannot wait to return! The Taurus Park is a beautiful hidden gem in Playa de Palma!

Had a fab weekend, the hotel is lovely and all the staff so lovely and friendly. Lovely big bright rooms with balconies with chairs and table. Fabulous breakfasts, (did not go for dinner but it looked amazing). Was nice to go to the spa too for an hour, the hotel is just off from the main road where bus stop outside going to the airport, Fan shopping centre etc , 2 large supermarkets close by also and a walk down to the seafront, really had a lovely time wandering around the area,
